Stock pulley is 90mm. This is 82mm. So this car is probably making close to 550rwhp with the other bolt-ons as well. His Roush warranty is fucked though, cause once you change the pulley its voided. I'd like to do this to my 2011 5.0, but i don't want to void my Roush Warranty.

I love this show but this is indicative of what most 'older' motorheads I know. Not paying attention @ the dealerships thinking paying $40k for a fully loaded Stang is nonsense - it isn't.

The Ford boys seem to be the only American car maker that gets it - product. The 2011 5.0 will go down in Mustang history as the turning point; this is the world-class era after the 1974-2010 phase of the 'poor man's' v8 muscle but now a car that comes within 2 tenths of the M3 on a road course.

@leaf16nut Yes, but that car wasn't the world-class performer it is now. The 2010 is really the last vestiges of that family of development - the quintessential pony car with an engine from the same line as the trucks'. The 2011's are different and of another level and will be remembered as such.

Little did we know what a bad deal was paying MSRP for a 2010 with that engine only right around the corner for only a little more money.

@JPIndustrie lol well said my buddy bought a 2010 in 09 and payed full 2 weeks before the 5.0 was announced lol... he traded the 10' GT for an 11' the day it came out. Let me say this though, that 5.0 has such potential with just some lower gearing (3.73) he paid a little extra for, & the difference between the two cars is night and day anyone who has rode in both and driven both know what i mean the 5.0s with 3.73 options only need an exhaust intake tune and they are set...
