But I also think that the Bible was manipulated by some men. But I also think that the Bible was manipulated by some men. But I also think that the Bible was manipulated by some men. So for that reason Joseph Smith was necessary.
I believe the Bible is a divine book. I believe the Bible is a divine book. I believe the Bible is a divine book. I believe the Bible is a divine book.
What a silly video series! haha That loong very impressive list of universities listed on the end WTF?!!? I bet they are very happy to be used as ammunition in the weapons of christians when attacking mormons. OK, the mormons didn't get everything right in their beliefs. Does that make this proclaimed son of a virgin and a creator of the universe who somehow got transformed into his own son which makes the son no more than a motherfucker more true? It's still a bloody death cult from the desert!
@heyawhaw Right on. I find this whole series to be quite an entertaining trip into the twisted minds of the religious. "Question our own absurd beliefs?! NEVER!!!" Well, of course not. When you've done nothing but prop up your own pathetic life on some hope of better times to come when you die, why would you want to take a serious look in the mirror?
A shining example of hypocrisy, that one Christian faith should attack another with science. "Your faith is provably based on a lie, so mine clearly isn't." Total bunk. The Bible may contain plenty of provable historical facts, but its essential narrative is every bit as unproven and vulnerable as that of the Book of Mormon.
@jonescomplete There are plenty of faiths that identify as denominations Christianity, Islam, etc., where adherents of other Christian or Muslim denominations say they are not. Whatever. The point is: You have two groups who claim they know something about God. If science shows one group to be full of crap, that hardly means the other is righteous or *not* full of crap. A lie told about a lie doesn't make the original lie a truth, after all.
@jaholmes01 I disagree with your view on the errancy of the Bible, but understand what you are saying. I was merely pointing out the Mormon deviation from Christianity. I apologize if that seemed like an affront to you.
I read through all the posts on these videos and I'm confused. The thought that arguing someone into or out of a Religion is even possible. Religion is a very personal experience. If someone really believes Joseph Smith was a true prophet, especially after seeing all of these videos, then there is obviously nothing any human being can say to convince them otherwise. Not to say that we shouldn't still be ministering to mormons, just not through belief bashing and ridicule. Be equipped with truth.
and we do believe that the Book of Mormon is the most correct book because the Bile has been passed on through so many hands to be translated into many languages confusing the readers such as the death of Juda Iscarriot, because the accountants give two different causes of death.
I know that the Bible is the word of God as far as it is translated correctly, and i know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ and the love of God is shown through it to his children.
Do you believe in God? If your answer is yes i presume you believe he is a loving God, and he is a loving God. That is why he has given two witness' which are the book of Mormon and the Bible, to fulfil the law, as two witnesses testifying about Jesus Christ. If you have read the book of Mormon you'll never find a verse that contradicts or denies the Bible
Of course Joseph Smith's stories were ridiculous.... unlike the story of a creator god who impregnated a virgin and had a son by her, then sent him as a vicarious sacrifice for the sins of all of us, who are otherwise condemned because our ancestors Adam and Eve ate from a tree that god told them to leave alone. And if we don't believe this god will send us to hell for eternal punishment. Yes, that makes much more sense.
I agree with rotcafarg...they want me to substitute the Voo-Doo BS that I was raised with wtih their Voo-Doo BS. I think you will find that most former mormons are agnostic if not athiest. I don't believe that the earth is 7,000 years old and man walked with dinosaurs either.
To compare the Holy Bible with this book of fictions is just blasphemous. What a deceiving and most of all satanic device to lead people away from the truth. Wake up America!!!

let the fact that Joseph Smith was a 32nd degree freemason be the icing on the cake for the lies and abominations of the LDS church.

@jaholmes01 If they have a different book, they are not Christian. The Bible says that. Did you watch the videos?
