Versions change over time. The way I learned it 40 years ago, we had a gun, not a camera, although when we shot we missed and had to run back. Also there wasn't any tree. As I remember it: Field (go thru), mountain (go over), tree in the road (go around), mud flats (go thru), cave (peek inside). Had a lot of fun getting in and out of our imaginary car at the beginning of the trip, turning the key and driving both sedately and frantically. Also slamming the door of our house leaving & returning.

I understand what you're saying. I work with two school districts one is more diverse than the other. The one that's divers has Asian children and, it's really said how our kids are compared to them.
