  • How do you connect the iPad to piano? How does the iPad know what key you're pressing? Good playing by the way!

  • @MrJason905 Thanks! It is a Yamaha Disklavier Piano. So it has MIDI IN/OUT functionality. With a USB MIDI interface and the iPad Camera Connection kit, we can connect the iPad to the piano.

  • Thumbs up for the little but extremely talented boy~ b^.^d

  • @mariocast whats the intro song? Sorry this is the second time asking but i figured someone would of answered by now... Great work though!

  • @squashduck It's the same piece: a piano arrangement of Canon in D by Johann Pachelbel. Listen starting at 1:57, you'll hear the same excerpt.

  • Whats the intro song? The name?

  • @squashduck canon

  • Wonderful, Mario. Can't wait til I can get all this technology figured out for myself and my students, feel like I'm swimming upstream all the time, I love how Nio looks over at the camera, so cute! And he plays beautifully!

  • He got one note wrong!.... only joking I loved every minute of it what a fantastic video this is, what a great player he is. It's got to be one of the best pieces of music every written. Bravo young man Bravo.

  • hes a real artist. he may be six or seven. imagine whit twenty, he will be a chopin!!!

    CONGRATS

  • awesome!

  • Bravo, Nio!

  • Wow Mario, your son is a gifted pianist! I wish I could take lessons from you too!

  • This kid will play anything without even looking at the sheets just hearing through his ears...

  • Hi - which app are you using on the ipad ?

  • @thecornucopian76 It's a beta version of Home Concert by TimeWarp Technologies. Their website address is in the video description and at the end of the video: 2:50

  • @mariocast @thecornucopian76 Love it (the music I mean, he's amazing). I'm not really a fan of Timewarp (both concert and classroom), it has some issues with 64 bit systems it seems, well on my system anyway. I can't rely on it when making videos, it crashes at random times. I guess it's a great app if it works all right. It may work better for Mac based systems though.

  • get olivia a drum set.

  • This is awesome! he can read music and I cant lol

  • well done

  • I wanna iPad!! :-) What fun!

    Nio sounds great!

  • Wow! He's amazing--a great pianist already! =)

  • Been meaning to look for a Piano arrangement for a while - you've saved me a Job.

Also - I can't imagine how good your boy is going to be in the future, he's already great! :)

    thanks for sharing.

    Peace!
