One of the main advantages of disc brakes is, apart from working better in wet conditions, is that if you happen to slightly buckle your wheel..the brakes are not effected as the braking surface is connected to the hubs..and not the rim. This means you can still get home safely (taking it cautious abviously). When you buckle a wheel with V- Brakes...or any other rim brake...the brakes become useless and also stop the wheel rotating. I ride a tandem with Hope Hyro Discs, Nothing Else Will Do!.
Yeah try riding in a wet place with v brakes, they stop working completely! And squeek a lot! Disks are way more reliable, and work under all conditions if they're well mantained and well taken care off, so I wounder why most new bikes have disk brakes now, especialy those expensive mountain bikes? Oh wait, cuz they're used the way they should and need power to stop under all conditions, duh!
hahahahahahahaha...what is it with these alien helmeted spandex cornhole seat post riding guys...stay of the brakes entirely and let the speed carry you...and why would you post a vid of you looking for a brain anyway...it seems that every newby out there thinks a 3" bump in the road has any interest to anyone - beyond a good laugh...ok ok right, keep it up can't wait for your next vid!
he probably thought he would crash of the track into the trees, but he should have waited and if he realised he couldnt then to use the rear brake, not the front. You use the front to stop and slow down, the rear to control speed in a corner
@UltimateFreakify his calipers are fine... its most likely that his rotors are too clean. brake dust from the pads coat the braking surface eliminating the sound. either that or he has really shity brakes
some brakes like avid codes squeek regardless. (this is normal) because the pad contact with the rotor is larger.
Lmao whys every1 shouting at this dude, if i did a drop with my seat that high and my balls got completely crushed i think id pull my brake that hard lol --- but seriously dude if your guna start hucking drop the seat lol its much less painful

maybe also dont pull your brakes while your landing, it was a flat surface you were heading for and you were travelling about 1mph so not needed.

try using your back brake only next time. You should probably just retard yourself from using your front break if you don't know how to use it lol.
