Its a shame this isn't as popular as the ugly Porsche. While the Porsche does put down some good numbers depending on trim level, the Rapide is more elegant (naturally being an Aston) and more exclusive. The Pannamera is for posers but holds its own.

Just looking at them already makes me wonder why they didn't simply make more room in the back and go for a smaller boot; you can see the amount of empty space behind the rear seats that could have potentially gone into rear legroom.

They were gorgeous back then and today they are still very pleasing to look at, but they need to move on and evolve. So what the reviewer just said is that it's slower than the Panamera and more expensive too?? The looks of the Rapide looked better as a Vantage. The Maserati would probably torch this thing. The only new luxury sedan that I am actually in awe of is the Rolls Royce Ghost (You could basically call it a BMW 11 series), which is a proper sedan instead of a sedan that is confused on whether it's a sports car or a family car.
