  • got a black one at wii4free[dot]info

  • lol, my friend hunter would loves this!!! he would also change his mind on selling his wii! :D

  • is there anyway you can help me out i have a the glovepie software and im running a program called xpadder that tricks your computer into letting you use any gaming controller for anygame by letting you map keyboard keys to the game controller buttons. im wanting to conect my wii remote then using xpadder map to virtual dj using the dj hero controller.

  • @strgzr53

Hi have you managed to get DJ hero Turntable working with any PC music apps yet? I am pulling my hair out trying to get a solid answer on whether anyone on the whole of the Internet has managed to get this working yet? I have got it semi connected via GlovePie and have mapped the buttons through Glovepie but am now stuck and am not sure if anyone has got this working yet as even the develepor of Glovepie said he does not know if it works for sure as he does not have DJ Hero. Thanks

  • @KungFuDJ its a keyboard your playing on. so you map your keyboard keys to the controller bottuns and i figured id have luck with that and glove pie but im having problems keeping conected buti think ive figured that part out. ill keep poking around with it and if i figure it out ill let you know.

  • @strgzr53

I got red,green,blue,-,+europhia button mapped and working ok in traktor\glovepie. Only having problems with crossfader, the effects dial and the deck for scratching. Have the scratch setup as it should be in Glovepie 0.43 this way :Key.F = WiiTurntable.RawLeftTurntable etc. Do I need to assign any extra values to these to get them to work. Is there any chance you could send me your DJ Hero/Glovep script so i can test it. I will send you a copy of my script if you like. Thanks.

  • @KungFuDJ no not yet i have glovepie to i havnt had a whole lot of time to sit and mess with it. i keep seeing a bunch of shit for ableton live and somethin else but i cant seem to get it to work for what i need .i have virtual dj and thats what im tryen to get it to work with. i also have traktor 2 and im totaly lost in the software but everything im seeing on it its more or less "hot cue" djing. i have a program called xpadder wich tricks what ever game controller you have into thinking.

  • First few notes sound like the melody of Blue Bossa

  • the thumbnail looks like you're about to roll up some decent-sized blunt

  • EPIC work I love this :)

  • Wait...Isn't this melody from Clockwork Orange?

  • infrared for pointer, bluetooth for everything else ^_^

  • " Look at me I can hold a chunk o' plastic in my hand and move it about. I am a musician now ".

    : S

  • It probably sounds better than everything you ever made.

  • they should just make a game to do this :D not that crappy Wii Music were all you do is shake the controller up and down

  • If we build it they will come.

  • whats the code for glovePIE!

  • 00000000843200000x301221000000

    000000006456400000000xc37877271600000000000000x00030200000000534

  • dude...your good at playing that thing.

  • im so high right now man ...

  • Yeah, sure it's dependant on the audiocards latency, and the processor power and so on. But the bluetooth connection in itself for the wiimote is what I'm asking about. A lot of videos I have seen seems to indicate some type of latency, or is it just the wiimote beeing inprecise and slow to react in some kind of way? or the "player" not reaching a certain point in air where the midi messages starts to be sent? I'm gonna buy one anyway, since it's usefull for other stuff too.

  • How's the latency? Is it possible to use it in real time with, for example, cubase Sx an a lot of instruments and effects playing at the same time without any latency issues, or stuttering sound?

  • it's pretty much as fast as your computer. any delays would be introduced by the computer you use it with, not the wiimote.

  • @sapphire327 awesome.

  • I wanna see you performing this live on stage with a band full of wiicontrolled instruments ;)

  • working on it :)

  • I'm totally going to try to do this!

Haha... I love this kind of stuff! Thanks for the info and tutorial! :)

  • hey thats sweet, do you have a script for that? i cant seem to get the tilting into midi, just the buttons

  • raw boi thats pretty bad ! did u make it ?

  • awsome!

  • Thanks for the video! =]

  • great work and thanks for all the info.

  • this is pretty amazing,

i dont know what the technology its gonna be in upcoming 10years, but its gonna be freaky i think..

  • u know the blue tooth thing right well i have a windows vista home basic does that mean its built in or do i still have to buy one?

  • were do u get that music program? ive wanted that program for ever our school computers have em.

  • is that fruity loops?

  • The song is created 100% by me moving the wiimote. The software synth I am using to create the sound is called Reaktor.

  • retard thats no fruity loops

  • ok dnt call me a retard u fuck

  • hahahahahaha by the way you type you cant be more than 10 years old, and you know nothing of good music programs.

FL IS ok..... if you dont know how to make music on you OWN.........

maby you should go back and play pokemon..... music is not for you!

  • im older than that. but that number is probs the same as ur brain age.. i may play pokemon but atleast i dnt go to my grandmothers basment wank all day to runescape and stuff my face with crappy junk food

  • A) if u said akmed. y wud u say worship a cow... cows worship = hindu akmed = muslim.

    B) thats racist

    C) u hav a crappy house with a ford fiesta.. thats not life

    D) its spelt achmed...

    bye bye

  • It's spelled spelled not spelt.. n00b.

  • hahahaha XD I love Youtube.

  • Are you retarded? "Spelt" is an acceptable spelling in the U.K. I'm an American, and at least I can recognize that the language ain't called English for nothing. "N00b."

  • Fucking Timbaland uses fruity loops...

  • fun... I want!

  • ive done everything and it works thank's but my limit has run out on bluesoeil and i need something else for free to pair my wiimote withh my laptop.... please help

    thank's

  • whats that song called? sounds very chillin'...

  • yer nah its not fake, why don't u go research something before shitin on it bulldog.

  • not fake you moron, the video and audio are not in sink, happens in alot of vids... might of been a error during upload

  • Not fake!!!!!

You're don't know very much of science do you?

    B L U E T O O T H ! ! ! !

Man...how old u can be to say this isnt real...

  • nah it aint fake you can use all kinds of crazy shit to send midi data ive seen pennies andpopsickle sticks used for a drum controller

  • is it possible to stream audio to the wiimote and have it play on the wiimote speaker like a bluetooth speaker

  • I think the Bluesoleil screwed with my Bluetooth Hub, after a restart or two it began running in evaluation mode and nothing would connect or would began doing glitchy things as well as restarted my computer. After uninstalling and reinstalling both my logitech(first) and bluesoleil(second) the same would happen until my hub was only recognized as a Generic USB port and could no longer install the logitech hardware, luckily though they are sending my a new one. If anyone knows why please explain

  • sounds like Castlevania o_o

  • Amazing.

  • well for a lil while there i was regreating gettihng rid of my 360 for the wii (more kid friendly for my kiddos) but with all the hacks that you can do on the wii and then also with the wiimote it was well worth it.

  • does any1 no how to pair your wiimote with bluesoleil it wont get me on the connection wizard it says bluetooth device not found??

    thanx

  • Are you pressing the 1 and 2 buttons at the same time? That turns the bluetooth onto discovery mode.

  • yes but it wont let me pair because it asks for a passkey

  • leave the box empty

  • Great! Fantastic Melody!

  • Nice! I'm trying this later on... been experimenting with WiiMote and GlovePie, and I desperately need to deal better with midi interface and stuff.

    Nice tune!

  • bulldog340 every thing he does on this video is 100% REAL... I know because i do it myself on garageband, reason and logic pro... the wiimote and the nun-chuck also make great drumsticks

  • This is awesome! Isn't fake i think. Because you can do this kind of thing with wii. Try it for yourself, download darwiin wii remote

  • thats great : O

  • Guys, I just did this myself with garageband.

I'll post a video soon of me doing it.

  • That sounds really neat, dude. You should post it as a response to this one!

  • You're wrong. Get a wiimote and try it yourself.

    Pfff

  • haha you're so dumb...and i'm replying to this bulldog character btw.

  • Also the same buttons do different things and he doesn't touch anything to change a sound setting, it just doesn't make sense. Anyway, ITS A LOAD OF SHIT.

  • It's called programming. Thanks for the support.

I can choose the chord by pressing A, B, Home, + and -. Shaking on its vertical axis adjusts the filter for the chord tones.

The arrow pad is used to change the note of the other voice. I can move the note one step up or down by pressing Up and Down. Pressing left or right will jump the note to the tonic or dominant.

I hope some or all of this makes sense. Now kindly remove yourself from the Internet.

  • Guys. Its real. You can use it as a mouse to. What makes it fake?

  • Thank you for not being a fag. However, i just don't buy it, i know the wiimote can be used for other things but this guy i think is just moving his hand so different pre-recorded sounds. IDK man i'm pretty sure it's fake.

  • Load of old shit if you ask me :D

  • Yes a giant load of shit, thank you!

  • true, true...you are a giant load of shit, your welcome

  • bulldog340, if you think this is fake, you have *no* idea what MIDI is or how it works. He even includes moments of turning the lead voices on/off and demonstrating the high-pass filters controlled by the tilt axes to show you how it works. This is an excellent and unique example of a 'non-musical' device being used as a MIDI controller.

  • ooooo i get it now! your just fucking jealous!

  • Interesting, although like a lot of these ideas you have to question whether it's a better tool to use than a keyboard?! After all, you have more accurate control using keys and a mod wheel. I'm impressed you managed to get it to talk to Reaktor though so qudos for that!

  • That is a good point, although in this case I would argue that what I was doing is actually better suited for the wiimote. Try spinning a mod wheel to create the rhythm I get when shaking the wiimote!

  • Awesome. I need some good scripts for glovepie and ableton live.

  • real nice music=)

  • this is real. 100% idiots dont research it before they comment.

  • Check the nordlead wii mote

  • Do you have any proof, bulldog?

  • you're an idiot bulldog...this isnt even that great of a thing to do with the wii-mote. Read the more info thing on how to do it and shut the hell up.

  • wii. the first ever musical game system. i would love to see someone conduict an orchestra with a wii mote like this. pure awesome.

    -

  • do you need a sensor bar for this to work?

  • nope, no sensor bar. If I had a sensor bar I could have done even more, but as it is, it just uses the accelerometer data.

  • try lighting two candles as a makeshift sensor bar. Its not the greatest, but at least it works because candles emit IR.

Place the candles a few inches or so apart (depending on how close you are).

  • how do you do this ? what software are you using also ? please

  • will you marry me?

  • It's bluetooth, but it got a infrared camera.. Please actually read something before you rant like that.

  • Suck a fat one chris!

  • Kickass!

  • hi. can u send me the glovepie script??

    THX

  • This is truly beautiful!

  • chris if wiis suck get the hell out of here..

  • Bravo!!! Mendelson opus 67 for wiimote, good tool but good mind that use that tool.

You can mode your wiimote with some barroque custom...like faberge egg

  • Yeah, everyone wants rubbish. Right? That's why they're sold out.

  • lol everyone thinks they're a laugh.

I admit they are great for partys but by yourself they get boring. I have one lol ;\

  • Amen... haha

  • shut up they are the best

  • lol but you can tell me it is the wii right?

  • Hey, at least he can type.

  • Thats pretty sick.

  • Which synth. program did you use? If you don't mind my asking..

  • you use the synth make by you own?(i never saw that synth in reaktor)

    This sound is WONDERFUL !!!

  • can anyone post a link to a place you can find a tutorial on HOW TO CONNECT THE WIIMOTE TO YOUR COMPUTER USING BLUETOOTH! (I have a laptop with built in bluetooth)

  • built in bluetooth doesn't work. you can still do it. just download bluesoleil

  • built in doesnt work? hahah I just made it work, using the built in one! Woohoo!

  • no i mean the one that Microsoft puts in the computer

  • I dont know wich one you mean but I used the one that was already installed on my laptop (its a HP laptop with Windows XP) and it worked fine!

  • when i said do need a dongle, i meant DON'T

  • I dont know wich one you mean but I used the one that was already installed on my laptop when I bought it (its a HP laptop with Windows XP) and it worked fine!

  • no i mean the driver. laptops like that do need a dongle. and also the HP computer puts extra stuff. with an HP, you don't need anything extra

  • yay! hp for the win

  • Nice .

  • That is so tight!

  • WTF??!!!that was soooooooo cool!!!

  • Very well done! Nice sound.

  • Great!! What Software do you use to convert to Midi Instructions. I once tried with the Glove Pie Software for PC. Well, I coulld trigger some Notes with the Buttons, but changin any Controllers ended up in a total mess. I would be very happy if you could give me some info.

  • is the aliasing always choppy like that, or is it the VST synth?

  • If I remember correctly, it was actually because the wiimote puts out a range of 256 values, and unless you are whacking it around, you really only get a much smaller range out of it, like 60 ish. So when the wiimote is changing a parameter which has a range of 1024, but doing it in only 60 steps, each step is rather large, and you can hear it. In my second wii video I wrote some code that smooths this out so you can't hear it anymore.

  • its almost like a seremin, or theremin, or whatever.

  • Very, very impressive. Really like it !

  • the sites dont work! i cant do anything with the sites... i really wanna connect my wiimote on my PC!

  • the links got cut off in the description, but if you copy and paste them carefully they will work.

  • AWESOME i want that program for my wii kik

  • My hat goes off to you. Great video.

  • i cant even tell you how amazing that is, that was a great song, the "instrument" has so many possibilitys

im in a metal band and if i wasnt so poor i would go buy that equipment right now!

  • that would make some good haunted music man!!! O_O

  • very good congratulations men!!!

  • BT?? I dont know it had BT. Thats awesome !

  • Nice! Seems to be a lot of preperations too, huh!? Awesome!

  • your good! that would make some good haunted music! :) and to top it off you did all that with a wiimote, so freakin cool!!

  • wtf that thing is sic

  • how the fuck?

and where the fuck can i get it?

  • now that is cool! out of all the music vids I rated, this is the awesomest 5-5 :)

  • Very very cool. I was looking for an unusual midi controller.

By the way, what Reaktor Ensemble is that? I dig the sound.

  • My computer is not yet equipped with a blue-tooth receiver.

  • They're only about 20 dollars at an electronics store.

  • w00t, no wii console required ynlk.

  • You need to release MP3s of that. That is some nifty music that I would love to have.

Great job. I'm loving all the amazing things that can be done with the Wiimote.

  • Seconded

  • Wendy Carlos smiles upon you.

  • Yeh, it sounds remarkably like her work; I wonder if somebody emailed her the link...

  • I thought you were about to break into a rendition of "paint it black" there for a sec. :P Wicked setup!

  • my guess at what it does: correct me if i'm wrong :)

the movement wii-mote is used to control the

    -progression of the harmony

    -timbre (attack resonance/cutoff/volume, etc)

the arrow keys are used for the higher 'melody' notes, which are also affected by position at times (but the high note has constant pitch).

and the other buttons control the general sequence/timeline features.

  • I just updated the description of this video to include a brief guide on how I did this. Check it out!

  • max/msp?

  • wow...thats really creative, do u need an actual wii console to do that?

  • no, the Wiimote is bluetooth enabled and is reconized by his ibook

  • You guys are falling for this?

  • wt u on about its perfectly possible

  • shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up

  • youre just jealous

  • just to keep you posted, I'm planning on writing a bit about how I did this, but I don't have enough time at the moment. This post is just to let you know I still exist!

  • that would be cool sapphire,i'm considering getting one for my studio d=b.What else can you control with it?

    Nice video

  • Are you some person who made the Wiimote Drum Machine?

  • OMG that sounds like blade runner in a church or some thing that looks cool
