YZ 125 start up

im loooking at 2 stroke 125's and i cant decide what one i should get.. im 5'8 so i should fit on them but im pree sure a yz 125 is the tallest, would i be able to fit on a yz 125 i heard there the quickest.. but i dont care as long as i can ride : )

@Mr1kill2many If you buy the bike straight off the showroom floor they have a bit of a difference. The 250s you can set the suspension at the same as a 125 if you adjust it but if you have both with the suspension at full height the 250 is bigger. It also depends on your skill level because the 250 has a hell of a lot more power than a 125

@apulido100 yeah, probably. i'm 14 and 5'8, and i've been riding for about 8 years, and i wouldn't go near one. i think you should get a 125, and once you master that, move up to the 250.

I think you should get 125, considering growing into it and all that. But until then you'll have to get use to hardly being able to touch the ground on the 125 if you can, but of course, you can always lean to one side while getting on off etc.

get the 125, you can touch on it fine, and if you cant you can cut down the foam in the seat, it makes it more comfortable.

you will fit on the sx125 cuz im 5'4 and i can touch tips on both sides, but thats wit the suspension all the way up

i have an 06 and there sweet you should change the shift stopper in the bike there right behind the clutch and for 05 and 06 there made with ball bearings and the race falls off leaving the berings to do massive damage to your bottom end and tranny if the bike feels like its hard to shift there either gone or just about gone

change the one in there for a soilid roller they have made the part for 05 and 06 solid rollers now so just order on of them good luck on that cheers!

fmf or pro circuit. there both good. factory yamaha used pro circuit when they rode 2 strokes
