That's still a back swing. It's just a funky back swing. 'No back swing' would be one setting up to the ball, and then immediately moving the club forward to hit the ball. It doesn't yield very good results. Still, I like his swing a lot. I have a funky swing myself.

Ok, the "Modified" backswing...more like an "upswing". But, you quickly get into the correct position and plane. Through the ball you are on your tippy toes with a lot of club head speed. Not surprising you hit the ball 300 yards. Do it for 18 holes and I'll be truly impressed. Looks like a waste of energy, but impressive you figured it out on this swing.

Im not much of a golf player but that is amazing and unique. It also seems better then the back swing since that you have to stop before swinging and this one is all in one motion without stopping giving you the extra speed advantage.
