I agree. The debate is a lot grayer than both sides will admit. But don't you think that Shelley comes across as more anti-porn than anti-porn industry? Yes, the porn industry could fix some things in in the way that it operates. I just can't get with the religionist/anti-sexual side of the anti-porn debate. There's a group that attacks any type of sexuality outside of a loving monogamous hetero relationship. Are you anti-pornography or anti-porn industry (in its current state)? Both? Neither?

OMG, getting pregnant in HS and having a miscarriage when a woman is THAT young, is likely NOT a reproductive health issue. GRRRR. STRESS is a major cause of miscarriage. I imagine most pregnant teens deal with tons of stress.

Ok, and I never read that Pink Cross was supposed to be non profit? That makes no sense to me. You can't claim non profit and then disclose taxes that say the opposite? Sorry for all the comments, I want to respond to every segment LOL. Anyway, when I read all the porn talent accounts on Pink Cross, they are all really different. They have some shared abuse stories, those vary as well. So I really don't think Shelley "trots out" extremes. and it's VERY hard for the talent to keep speaking out, they want to move on. Plus there is opposition and people saying "you're blaming others" when they tell the truth of what happened to them.

@boobootoob 1) 1 miscarriage you're correct but a pattern of several miscarriages can be a serious sign of repro health problems. 2) Cervical cancer is NOT a problem that develops with prostitution Mrs. Disinformationist. It CAN develop from HPV which is an STI that is very VERY common.

well i see it like this. Not many people have the guts to get involved in the anti-porn info and it takes someone, I think, that thinks it's for a higher power. Because there's too much to contend with. So that's why I think it's mainly religious groups. Well, that and it's natural for people to turn to a higher power when they make really difficult life changes. If one feels they are going from one form of control to another it's not helpful.

The problem is that we have to spend so much time sifting through the anti-porn DISINFORMATION; (as I have proven in this comment section) like the conflations between consensual sex work and sex trafficking, that sometimes we never get to tell our stories & talk about what needs to be changed.

if people are giving you shiite for not believing and acting as they do, they're just in it for themselves and not respecting you as a person. They shouldn't help people to have their OWN expectations filled. They should have no expectations. I saw one of Shelley's speeches on You Tube here and she tells huge congregations that they are not loving enough and that's why she didn't straighten up her unhappiness sooner. Shed talks a lot about that. I know she helps non Xians like Neesa too.
