I purchased the entire series on VHS less than 10 years ago. I find it hard to believe that it is no longer available. In fact I saw the DVD version of this series at Barnes and Noble a few years ago. I just checked the Blackside, Inc. website (producers of the series) and found that it was just broadcast in October 2006 on PBS and will be re-broadcast in July 2007. Hmmmm....
Is that all it costs? $500,000? Nobody can pony that up? It seems that they should pay for Eyes on the Prize instead of working against copyright laws, if that is in fact what some people are doing.
BTW, you can order both the VHS and DVD formats from the Blackside, Inc. website for $375. Makes me VERY happy I got mine years ago for $149.

I saw a few episodes of "Eyes on the Prize" on PBS a few weeks ago. It came on at around midnight.
