  • ^(oo)^...~

  • Hey, it's not uncultured for it to be called "The Babe Song". There have been lots of times when a well-loved bit of classical music gets "unpacked" into an anthem like this.

    It's very nice!

  • That'll do, Pig. That'll do.

  • The song is called 'if I had words' by Keali'i Reichel

  • @arturoreyes No it isn't. The song you mentioned is based on this piece of music.

  • 2010.Feb.06 = Comment #41 = Bravo!

  • YES FRENCH HORNS

  • BROVO!!!!! I love this soundtrack, but I-tunes dose not have it avaliable in the USA :( what ever that means

  • Spotify, dude...

  • Every time I hear this piece, I think of Babe and the Farmer standing alone in the middle of the statium with the light coming down from Heaven... and the little mice.

  • FOR THE EMPEROR!

  • This is cool. I love pipe organs!

  • wow cool so beautiful i hear this theme every time i watch the Movie Babe i wish i had the soundtrack that would be Awesome

  • @TehMana That'll be sweet!!!!

  • This song gives me goosebumps.

  • That is so beautiful.

  • This is awesome!

I am one of the un-cultured fan of the Babe-Song.

    This sounds so amazing.

I'd love to hear it first hand.

    Thanks for sharing

  • You are really funny.x

Are you like a comedian... seriously. lol.

I think i love this film, song and you EmesWillsunToo.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • This peice shows true depth and is beautiful in itself. I dont tend to like anything classical but my half sister used to sing me the song to this music as a lullaby, since she died I've had a passion for listening to this peice in all types. Thats why I listen to the whole music featured in the credits of the film "babe" as it not only imcludes words but a wonderful peice of music, such as this.

  • Who is this transcription by?

  • I don't think this is a transcription at all. I believe it's the original piece.

  • That's not true. This video is for brass band. The Symphony is written for an orchestra.

  • ich weine sehr oft deswegen

  • Beautiful sounding band, though yes the title should read Organ Symphony.

  • this is not "the babe song." this is one of camille saint-saens' most wonderful symphonies - number three, the organ symphony.

  • which is in the movie babe

    thus, the babe song!

  • lol. So said for Camille Saint-Saens he didn't get the chance to see it lol.

  • um, as good as the babe movie is i think there are other things he would rather see in the 80 years hes been dead...

  • IN... IN... INCREDIBLE! I had a small feeling that the main theme of "Babe" came from a classical piece. It's even more beautiful with the organ. I think I might cry listening to this. Oh, goodness. I'm crying already. <:'-)

I have to find the whole symphony.

  • Baa-Ram-Ewe! sorry... I love this song. that was one of my favorite movies growing up!

  • le film babe

  • juste pour dire que j'ai d'abord découvert la version adaptée en reggae et que je suis heureux de voir que l'oeuvre originale est française... je ne pouvais qu'adorer l'adaptation ! vive la France ! j'adore mon pays !

  • anybody know where i could get keyboard music for this song?

  • cazzo che bella sta canzone

  • its titled "if i had words", its a theme song for "babe"

  • ..."if I had words" is not the original title...yes, it's a popular song by an English producer but he took the melody form French composer Saints Saens third organ symphony which is the real title of this lovely piece of music. This producer (forgot his name) did a nice job to give the theme a reggae beat and have it sung by Yvonne Kealy (?) if I remember correctly...a Dutch singer of the seventies...

  • ah thanks for correcting, I also found it out after commenting on this :D

  • Yvonne Keeley it is,

    but yea you're right

  • Why did you cut this off so early? I love it. Upload the whole thing

  • The two most powerful pieces ever written to show off the pipe organ, in my opinion:

    (1) this

    (2) Widor's Toccata

  • No love for Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor?? It makes organs sound great.

  • Well, yes, that too, definitely. Sorry for the oversight!

  • @numbereightyone And you are TOTALLY missing out the Toccata from "Suite Gothique" by Leon Boellman (the whole suite is fantasitic, but the Toccata is of similar proportions to this!

  • this is great!

  • soz i meant to post my last comment on another video for someone who didn't know what it was but i had two tabs up, i like the arrangement on this version though =]

  • Symphony No. 3 by Saint-Saëns also known as the organ symphony.

  • I've always loved this melody, and it comes from a truly impressive symphony. I'm just glad it has achieved a wider audience through "Babe".

  • OMG this brings back memories! thankyou!!!!!
