This Silent Hill game is my favorite in the series because Heather is an awesome character>=D And yes, that includes the new titles Shattered Memories, Homecoming, and Origins! Guys, I'm a Silent Hill-late bloomer, I got into the epic franchise that is SH VERY LATE...I was 18, and 19 now, these games kick major ass!

Silent Hill 1: Harry Mason= He is the original, so he is cool by default

Silent Hill 2: James Sunderland=Poor guy, his story is depressing

I just hope they don"t put pryamid head in it, i mean like what was his point in homecoming, the only thing he did was kill one person, yet there was no symbolic reference behind his appearance. There was a reason he was in SIlent Hill 2, plus they really have failed with the pyshcological horror on which the games are meant to use. I hope Downpour does it better then HC and origins. Can't wait though.

I remember seeing this video a long time ago when I was a kid. It was my first SH video ever. The first seconds scared the living shit out of me and I closed the window instantly. That's exactly what i've done lol. Xbox is for multiplayer plus exclusives, PS3 is for single player plus exclusives (and SH and MGS collection it doesn't feel right on the xbox....), and the PC is for exclusives, mods, and great deals on good games, and most single player and co op games.

What I love about this game is that it provide something not seen very often in video games.

A strong and developed female protagonist.

Now I know that there are many strong female characters in video games but very few of them are believeable as people you could meet.

You could probably count the number of realistic female characters in video games on one hand.

Fortunately for this game, Heather is one of those few and she is pretty much my standard when it comes to that type of character.

@Charliem1994 It really isn't. Have you ever seen the Unreal Samaritan Demo? The PS3, and nothing from this current generation of consoles, can handle those graphics. Control is also better. There's this awesome company called Razer that makes controllers and headphones for PC gamers which are very customizable to fit any need. Consoles are very limited with customization, so you have to cope even if it's awkward.
