  • Say hello to the Black Cracker!

  • Ol' HK proves that each one of these redneck organizations that want to display him to prove that Blacks served in combat roles in the Civil War are worth a bale of cotton and are easier to pick! HK gets about $1,000 per engagement and he is no more the descendant of a Confederate veteran than he is a Martian.

  • thats a thing that the north can never take away cause thats are sport that we made they can kiss it

  • REALLY!!! UNCLE RUCKUS LIVES!!!

  • this guy is awesome!

  • Whould you PLEASE correct the title to read "bans", instead of "bands"?! The title is embarassing.

  • What a Uncle Tom...He doesnt even know all the souther redneck haters are loving him showing how ignorant he is

  • Idk why nascar banned the flag, I mean nascar is full of whites. I never seen one black person there. (no racism intended) but seriously never have

  • the P.C police are gonna turn us into britian if we dont do something soon then we wont even have the right to free speech

  • @communipaw2009 really, his pants are around his waste, he knows US history, and he speaks English well and he is enunciating his words... you may want to get out more if you believe he is the dumbest black person you have ever seen.

  • FUCK BILL FRANCE! He has ruined NASCAR!

  • Amen my man.. Once again its not about whats right its about the almighty dollar that has lined Bill France's pockets now he does not want to loose money due to the stupidity of the NAACP by giving in to them instead of standing his ground and speaking about the "Truth" of this great flag.. Instead France's is doing all the more to burry and hurt the heritage of this flag and all that it has brought him.. What a coward. If John B Hood was around he would put a boot to that man.

  • @rmstudio lol its banned? im pretty sure i see it at every track

  • He is insane.

  • Sayin we cant fly our rebel flags at our NASCAR races. Liberal scums.

Fine then, I'll just decal it on my car. Take it with me everywhere I go.

  • this man needs to come to the campus of the University of Ole Miss.. they made us quit flying the flag about 10 years ago and then pulled our mascot, colonol rebel, back in 2003.. and now as of last year our band cant even play the south's greatest tune "From Dixie With Love"...it makes me absolutely sick that we have people who are ashamed of their heritage

  • @ewest121 - Perhaps they are just ashamed with treason.

  • It's a "heritage" of slavery, segregation, rapes, whippings, lynchings, trafficking in human beings, and the denial of all education and FREEDOM. For centuries. Only one kind of person would be proud of that "heritage." It's as sick and evil as Germans being proud of their Nazi "heritage."

  • @RonPaulHatesBlacks segregation, rapes, racism.. more of that shit happens up north than the south.. and as far as slavery, the north even had slaves. hell, ulysseus grant didnt free his slaves until he was forced to by the 13th amendment while robert lee freed his before the war..so know your history before you start talkin..by the way..slavery is OVER.. you were never a slave so quit actin like your offended and try to start shit by callin people racist..quit livin in the past and get over it!

  • Ulysses S. Grant personally owned multiple slaves? Really? How many did he own? When did he own them? What were their names?

  • @RonPaulHatesBlacks uh... look it up smart ass. both he and his wife owned many slaves and didnt free them until forced by the 13th amendment.

  • I know all about Julia Grant. You said Ulysses S. Grant personally owned multiple slaves. How many did he own? When did he own them? What were their names?

  • @RonPaulHatesBlacks well look at it like this...it was about the mid-1800's... women didnt have any say nor ownership over the white men. the women were looked down upon... grant had every right and power over julia to release the slaves and he didnt..though they might have been ran by julia.. he had the power to release them and he didnt

  • No, even in the 1800s women were allowed to inherit separate property and men had no power over it. Women were not property, even then. You claimed Ulysses S. Grant personally owned multiple slaves. How many did he own? When did he own them? What were their names?

These are simple questions, boy. Why can't you answer them?

  • @RonPaulHatesBlacks actually women couldnt own property until the married womans property act of 1887..from 1854 to 1858 grant worked on julias fathers farm and then bought one of his slaves from him. got anything else you wanna argue on???

  • I'm not aware of a "married womans property act of 1887" that applied to the Grants. Can you provide a citation and link? I am aware of New York's MWPA in 1848, and the earlier actions by Mississippi and other states to give women property rights, particularly over slaves. And I'm of course aware of the MWPAs of 1870 and 1882. Perhaps you have the wrong date? Or are you now saying that Ulysses S. Grant only owned one slave? Why would he need to buy a slave if he owned all of his wife's?

  • @RonPaulHatesBlacks Just shut the hell up i see your name on alot of videos and im about freaking tired of it. Please if you don't know your history shut the hell up. I bet you didn't know that the biggest "trafficing" of slaves was in the NORTH. But no you are by far the biggest racist i have seen in awhile. And i would like to see you go to germany and even mention nazi or hitler and see what happens. You are a real piece of work.

  • I'm a racist? Really? Which race(s) do I consider inherently inferior to others?

  • fuck the kkk thats the statement!!! true confederates of the south are not only white

    THE SOUTH IS RISING!!!

  • HK Edgerton is my hero!

  • Ha Ha "Bans" you inbred grade school drop-outs, not "bands".

  • I have debated this fool plenty of times via e-mail. I have debunked him & his nonsense plenty of times to the point he know longer was interested in a debate.

He is a sell-out to his people. Dancing around for those white folks, & kissing up to those rednecks. The KKK looks at him & LAUGHS. They see him as nothing more then a good trained monkey!

Yeah, he's a real good house negro. I bet all you hicks do love this slave.

  • @Zeeboe dude let it go. if you don't like him why watch his videos? your acting like your above him and HIS cause. if HE wants to, in your eyes, make a fool out of himself let him. its not your place or concern to try and correct him. just let it go. if it makes him happy leave him be.

  • @irishpride6129 - I just don't want people thinking this man speaks & represents all black people. Nor do I want anyone to think his opinions of history are true.

  • @Zeeboe Who gives a flying FUCK about the gay-ass kkk? Why even bring them into this? Oh yeah, because that's all you have to argue with; a bunch of jagg-offs who go out every now and then dressed up like ghosts and you think they speak for everyone who looks up to that flag... And WE'RE the dumb ones. Riiiiiiight...

  • @Zeeboe i think this guy is a hero i dont see him as any thing else uther than a human being .i dont get why you call him a house nigger or even a discrase to his own peaple his peaple are all of us the only rasist hear is you so please keep you silly coments to your self

  • @dean11081988 - What has this guy done to make him a hero? All he has done is disgrace his people.

  • I'm still laughing over the John Tesh.

Is he in the NASCAR band?

  • The problem with slavery is the same as the problem with Lincoln's idea of the Union: The relationship is not voluntary for one of the party involved. The master could prevent the slave from breaking the bond and Lincoln decided participation in the Union was not voluntary either. Secession is the last check on the federal government's centralization of power. With that gone, as we have seen, there is not check. Washington, D.C. doesn't want you to know that, so they say slavery's the issue.

  • If this has not been mentioned before, the correct word is "bans," not "bands."

That being said, the war wasn't about slavery. Just ask Abraham Lincoln about that. He said it was about collecting taxes.

The Declaration of Independence says people have a right to alter or replace any government that becomes destructive of individual rights. The South decided to exercise that right. Lincoln started the war to prevent secession which was - and continues to be - the right of every state.

  • I hate listening to those damb idiots who see all Southern folks as rednecks, racist farmers or KKK people!!

    Damn Democrats!!

  • yeah fuck em all they dont know the difference of a redneck and a nazi stupid close minded yanks

  • ,,jewish film makers do that on purpose until the movie Fargo came out then it was finally time to make fun of Yankees.

  • @EdwarDixie exactly fuck liberals

  • As a proud Southen, Republican, Right wing and White man, I am so glad to hear what this old black sir is saying there.

There's is absolutely no reason to avoid\deny\mock\be angry\be offended etc.. about our Confederate Flag! this is our herritage and I am proud of it.

  • And that they would never own slaves if slavery was abolished and the slave holders knew this and used this situation to their advantage, ....but, I've gone into detail about this before.

And as if those farmers & laborers, or whatever their jobs were, knew that they would be going to war for four years. Perhaps they wouldn't have supported slavery if they knew that, although it is impossible to truly know, and if they had not have been so indoctrinated by a society that supported slavery?!

  • There is only one thing wrong with that last statement about them wanting to own slaves....that would be the very Southern racism you accuse modern day Southerners of.

Those men didn't give a damn about black people one way or the other. The idea that any of them would suffer as long as they did against the hardships of war, starving, dying from disease or imprisonment over people they didn't give a fuck about is impossible to accept.

  • .....There is only one thing wrong with that last statement about them wanting to own slaves....that would be the very Southern racism you accuse modern day Southerners of.....

And...how is there something wrong with that statement, besides the fact that, based on what you just said, I never said that!?!

Besides the fact that I have NOT EVER said that modern southerners, who are alive today, want to own slaves, even if I said it, how exactly would that be a contradiction, or whatever?!!

  • Nor would the Confederate citizen soldier volunteer to fight simply to protect the property rights of 7% or so of the population.

Southern men were not serfs, and not called upon to fight just because some rich snobs who owned a big house and two miles worth of land told them to.

  • 1. It wouldn't be!

    2. There are MANY southerners today who would own slaves if they could. Members of the KKK, specifically!!

No, at the risk of sounding redundant, actually they were told to fight on behalf on some rich snob and if they didn't they would have faced court martial and execution! Besides the fact that they wanted to fight for that rich snob, their own right to own slaves, and for God, bc it was God that gave humans the gift of slavery, so they believed!

  • And you really didn't have any food industries back then, the vast majority of all food was either grown or shot locally bc refrigeration was non-existent and anyone who owned land, most of the time the vast majority of what they would eat was grown on and shot on their own land.

So yes, slavery was not the only reason for the Civil War but, it is the main reason for the war. Which is funny bc it really makes you look stupid when you try to defend it!

  • I do not defend slavery, as I stated before. I put it into context.

It may surprise you that, for the most part, I concede your points about slavery....however, I reject the notion that men and boys, most of whom were poor farmers and laborers themselves would willingly suffer through four years of hell for slavery itself.

You would probably say they were uninformed hicks, but the truth is that Southern men back then were highly read and educated.

They fought for their native soil.

  • In defending the confederate flag you defend slavery and racism and that is what I have been saying all along!

Tho the vast majority of them did not own slaves, those farmers and laborers were, to borrow a phrase, "brainwashed" (Although the term is technically inaccurate bc of what the term literally means when you break it down, by definition it means exactly the opposite.) into believing that they too could one day own slaves.

  • ..border of a southern state and their properties were right up against one another and if one of them found someone, from the other family, on what they deemed to be their property then this would touch off something of a war between the two families, ...for trying to steal food from the mouths of their children.

  • ..& they would go into all kinds of detail, often with anti-Semitic rants, about those northerners aren't Christian, they are Jewish, they worship the devil, they killed Jesus and now they want to abolish slavery, ...& so on & so forth!

Literally, approximately 80% of the war was fought over slavery. Not the entire war, true! There were border disputes amongst individual families; northerners who lived on the southern border of a northern state and southerners who lived on the northern ...

  • The slave owners, the vast majority of which were not in the military obviously, would often speak at rallies where confederate troops were watching. The slave owners would get up on stage and act like preachers talking about how slavery was a gift from God, slavery is in the Bible, and if you are against slavery then you are against the will of God and he will cast you down into Hell, etc., etc., etc., ...

...but, ...those evil northerners want to abolish slavery,....

  • If you want to honor your ancestors you should (dis)honor them, giving them the (dis)respect that they deserve and admit to what they were fighting for and for why the Civil War was actually fought. In giving them an honor that they don't deserve you dishonor yourself and that makes you no better than those white sheet-wearing peckerwood assholes!

  • I have never denied that slavery is an issue, but only in one aspect.

Your problem is that you believe it to be the sole aspect and one that would still remain, despite evidence of human progressiveness over the last 150 years.

The individual Confederate soldier did not fight for slavery. PERIOD!

  • I do condemn the institution of American slavery, and the Southlands part in it. I offer no moral justification for it, nobody who lives by 21st century morality can. And I do condemn the aspects of the Confederacy that choose to keep that horror going.

Now having said that, I would point out that there were many in the Confederacy who also hated slavery. That 80% of Confederate soldiers were not slaveholders themselves. And that by comparison to American history, 4 years is nothing.

  • Wow, to hear you condemn slavery when you have been ignoring its very existence, particularly in the south, in American history is so heartbreaking...it brings a tear to my eye... Boowhoo!

Now with that said, I have heard that anywhere from 1 - 12% of the confederate soldiers owned slaves and the average is around 8%. But, the soldiers weren't just fighting for slavery!! They were fighting for the right to own slaves!

  • I Think All Of us Should Sit Back, Watch These Videos Like NORMAL PEOPLE And Just Keep Our Opinions About The Content To Ourselves, Look At All The Racial Debate This Has Started~!

A Spit In The Face On FREE SPEECH And The RIGHT TO BELIEVE What You Want.

If Anything Is To be Posted It Should Be Just A Simple "I Agree With Him" Or "I Disagree With His Beliefs"

Non Of This "Oh That Man is A TOTAL N***** For Thinking So Ignorant" Or "BURN IN H*** YANKEES"

You See? Leave SIMPLE Comments. :)

  • I agree with you on principal TitanicMatthew, however please don't butt in on a good hot debate...especially one I am winning.

    Thanks dude.

  • Lol Umm Ok Suite Yourseff

  • i love em!

  • H.K. Edgerton is aligned with the white supremacist wing of the Southern Heritage movement. No matter how you paint it (former NAACP leader, etc), Edgerton is extremely misguided.

Of course he is free to believe anything that he wants, but he needs to KNOW that the very people he's out here trying to defend would have literally hung him out to dry less than 50 years ago, just for being black.

People are not assets. Slavery was not good! Anyone thinking otherwise is likely delusional.

  • Wow dmoon79, I have never heard someone call a black man an ignorant ni**er so indirectly while trying to sound like they are smart...at least until now.

What kind of a man are you (granted even calling you that I may be stretching it)?

Clearly you have never taken the time to attend a Confederate memorial event, or meet honorable Confederate heritage defenders.

If you did so, you will know that brother HK is far from unique, and that every one of us consider him as good a Southerner as any.

  • Call it anything you like. I know at heart of it, the flag issue is a heritage issue. However, what is the heritage that you are so proud of? Slavery? Jim Crow?

As a black man, I find it particularly hard to digest this guy. Its really sickening in the sense that since HK is your fanboy, his presence in a way legitimizes the horrors of the past to your sympathizers.

Well HKmay support you, but 99.999999% of American blacks don't, and I'm sure most of them would tell you to GO TO HELLl!

  • Again you clearly have never been to a Confederate Memorial Day even and looked at the individuals there objectively.

If you think anyone today tries to legitimize Jim Crow or Slavery, then you really are living in the past as much as a member of the KKK, only beating a different horse.

I never understood how people like you can live in your own anger like you do. The idea of being constantly full of hatred for others is so beyond me, you may as well be explaining to me that the world is flat.

  • As for the heritage issue, it transcends even the CSA itself. It goes all the way back to those Southern descendants who lived in Ulster and the Scottish highlands. To those ideals of honoring those who give their lives for the land of their own birth. A connection to the soil that lives in Native Americans who knew it, and even your own ancestors who loved the Ivory Coast and the plains of Africa where man rose on God's Earth.

As long as you fail to grasp that, you wont understand.

  • Oh and brother HK is not our fanboy as you put it (I trust the boy thing isn't a racial implication BTW).

He simply took the time to understand his fellow Southerners and looked beyond the skin color thing to that which connects us as Southerners and Americans.

He defends the South and its symbols and sees them as his own...as I hope someday the next generation of ALL Southerns will. You can keep pointing to the negatives if you want but the noble aspects win the day.

    Always will.

  • Look, I don't mind supporting heritage, but if that means loosing sight of the atrocities commited, then I can't go for that.

Again. Its like trying to defend the bright points of Nazi Germany...or Idi Amin's Uganda. Hell everything has bright points if you look hard enough for them.

You made be proud of your ancestors and I'm not knocking you or HK for that, but understandably, I'm glad they failed, and HK ought to be too.

    Now back to reality.

  • Now you are reduced to the ignorant and already disproven Nazi comparison.

I would like you to try and explain to me the so-called "bright points" of Nazism if you can? According to you one can find bright spots in it.

Would those bright spots be government enforced euthenasia of invalids, mental-defectives and others?

The total loss of individuality and personal freedom in favor of the "common good of the whole"?

Real Confederates who believe in States Rights would find that system appalling.

  • Yeah, except for the fact that confederates hate all non-whites and Jews are considered to be there own race, a race of non-white ppl!

Pull your head out of your ass long enough to NOT sip the Kool-Aid and you just might learn something, darthroden!!

  • Well SpookyR, I think you will find that those Native Americans who allied themselves with the Confederacy which honored their territorial claims might find your are mistaken about your opinion of an all-white loving gentleman's club in the CSA. One General Stand Waite CSA, a full blooded Cherokee Chief comes to mind.

And theres Judah P. Benjamin, a Jewish Southerner who was Confederate Secretary of State.

  • Dude...The confederacy was fighting to preserve their state rights including their right to own slaves. To gloss over that as an insignificant point makes me sick.

Trying to point to the misguided minorities who support your cause is just lame. If you'd won they'd be SLAVES at the end of the day!!!

The only thing I find appalling is your lame attempts to justify your celebration of a terrible past. Besides, the confederacy lost. Hiding behind that flag just makes you a scoundrel!

  • First off I have NOT glossed over anything involving slavery, nor even mentioned it for that matter. The fact is that the Confederacy fought for its independence as the overall fact and slavery was but one of a dozen reasons for said independence. Thats not glossing it over, its putting it in perspective.

Secondly, HK is neither misguided, nor is he considered any more important than the average rank in file member who is white. Were all in it together, a band of SOUTHERN BROTHERS!

  • What I do find dmoon79 is how lame and misguided you are yourself.

That terrible past you point is part of US History as a whole and encompasses more than just one minority.

Also if you think anyone who honors the dead is hiding behind a flag, you really are a loser yourself. Honoring the dead is a matter of human nature, or maybe you consider yourself above it?

Okay lets get to your next post, Im sure your about to trot out the tired Nazi comparisons as your next justification? Am I right?

  • American history past has plenty skeletons in the closet (and many more bright points).

However, that is not the point here, we are discussing the confederacy, its failed attempt to keep slavery around, and the fact the HK would be a slave if you guys would have won. A SLAVE! Not your Brother, he would have been your Slave. That's pretty much my only point, and a point that you really can't argue.

He can defend it if he wants, but Its clear that he's out of his mind.

  • If this is all about honoring the dead . His presence is a slap in the face to many, many generations of black people.

There's no way to sugar coat it, he's a sellout A sellout who wants some sort of attention.

Have your memorials, and have fun, but it is my sincere hope that your are called on your indefensible past for the rest of time!

    Save your breath.

  • And how is it?

I would imagine that those past generations would prefer this one to get along better.

So now your argument is that because brother HK does not go through life with a chip on his shoulder, or continue to hold a mentality that he his weak and held down all the time that he is a "sellout" who wants attention?

    LMFAO!

Someday I believe your view of things will be about as popular as those of a segregationist would be today in this time, and rightly so.

  • dmoon79, there is a big difference between you and me and HK.

HK has been beaten for his views by intolerant garbage such as yourself.

I have been beaten for my support of Confederate heritage and the honor of remembering my ancestors alongside brother Edgergon's in brotherhood and faith.

We have both been threatened by white supremacists who want to claim our ancestor's flag and yet we still continue.

I am willing to be beaten for my heritage...question is, are you willing to be to stop me?

  • You really are funny if you believe that slavery as an institution in America would still exist in the 21st century even if the Confederacy had prevailed.

The Confederacy, like the US, would have been forced through the tolerance of later generations to modify its racial policies.

Since, as you point out, the Confederacy lost, we will never know exactly what it would of become with certainty.

  • WOW!!! So slavery wouldn't exist in the 21st century. That's quite a big assumption there. I mean racism is still here, and slavery still occurs in many parts of the world..there is no evidence to really support your idealism. Such claims dilute your already thin argument.

I'm not willing to beat anyone for something so RIDICULOUS. But if you did show up in my town with that flag, you may find out how willing someone is to shove that flag right up your ass. For now and years to come!

  • I am willing to take those beatings for my heritage by the way!

I have endured being called a racist, a hillbilly, a homophobe, a sexist and other nonsense from your sort....and from white supremacists a race-traitor, a "tool of the Zog-Machine" (whatever that is supposed to mean?) and an appeaser (though I think guys like you and Spooky can attest to the fact that's not true eh?).

I, and brother HK and all other heritage defenders fight hate...you stand with the ignorant and the hateful.

  • Actually you finally slipped there dmoon!

There is a precedent for the idea of Confederate tolerance and it happened in Brazil where many Southerners went after the War ended. They intermarried with black and Hispanic peoples and all of their descendants honor that heritage and flag...all colors, diversely!

I suggest you look up Brazilian Confederates and see for yourself how those descendants view the flag you hate.

That same thing is possible here and its what we fight for!

  • The Brazilian Confederates fled prosecution by the union. But that just indicates that these guys were concerned more about their own ass instead of the cause of the confederacy. In other words, cowards, who went to a country that's overwhelmingly of Black and Latin descent, and decided it may be best to try fit in. In fact most of these exiles tended to avoid the major Brazilian population centers, instead opting to live in the backwoods. Can you say irony!

we disagree on this topic. bye!

  • NO!

Clearly you still do not see the point. The modern descendants of these Confederates are a multicultural blend of various peoples, yet are proud of their ancestral roots. They celebrate them twice a year where all come together in mutual brotherhood.

The sad thing is that here in the US Confederate descendants are not given the courtesy of honoring our ancestors free from incrimination and persecution.

It cost you nothing to let those who love the flag honor it in their own way!

  • "...proud of their ancestral roots."

Proud of slavery and racism! Thank you for proving my point, you bigoted piece of scum...

  • You do not even know me, and yet you believe you know who and what I am based on your own biased, misguided view of history.

Thank you for proving MY points Spooky. People like you are not worth worrying about, history and selective inbreeding will keep your kind to a minimum and your numbers are decreasing every year.

Have a good life, such as it is....see you in 30 years when your kind are apologizing for your hatred just to keep your jobs.

  • I don't need to know your favorite color or your shoe size to know that you are a historical revisionist who, is proud of a heritage of slavery and racism!

Inbreeding is a southern trait by the way... Good luck trying to have kids with your own children and grandchildren, you ignorant fool; I look forward to seeing you on Jerry Springer and on the front of the National Enquirer...LOL!!!

  • Wow more ignorant stereotypes...I'm sorry to hear that the KKK turned you down again. Keep up the dirty work here and they may still see fit to lower their already subterranean standards and let you join up.

I'd give you a reference, unfortunately I do not know any of them, nor do any of the "historical revisionists" I know. Were too busy cleaning graves, preserving historical sites, educating the public and taking pride in being born Southern or with Southern roots to worry about you morons.

  • You say that ...history and selective inbreeding will keep your kind to a minimum... but, I'm pushing ignorant stereotypes!?!

Look, you pathetic little hypocrite, you honor...EVIL! ..what reaction am I supposed to have to that!!? I'm not going to praise you for it and you refuse to give up this idea that you are not sucking the devils dick! Well, if you are going to do and do it with such fervor I'm going to shove it in your face, like a mirror that lets you know exactly who you are!

  • Humm cleaning gravestones, erecting monuments, preserving the names and sites where someone died....

Oh yeah I totally support the forces of darkness.

  • Oh yeah I totally support the forces of darkness....

Yea, such is the nature of racism, slavery, and the evil upon which those things have their foundation, which is what that flag truly does represent.

You don't know how right you are!

  • Considering that the Confederate battle flag's colors are patterned much after those of the US flag....then in that regard you may have a point.

  • Come to think of it, you're actually pretty fuckin' ungrateful about the whole thing!

I'm doing you a favor, buddy!!

  • If its a favor, it falls pretty short.

You call me a racist for honoring an ancestor who died hundreds of miles from his family and is buried in an unknown place.

You claim I am a bigot because I do not somehow cry over the fact some black person is hurt by the sight of the flag I honor as a Southerner.

You do not know what or how I feel about that! It brings me no pleasure. When I meet such a person I try to explain my reasons and hope that decency prevails. That's all I can do.

  • The alternative is simply folding up my battle flag, the one my ancestor's blood and brother HK's ancestors blood was shed for and find the nearest white-sheet wearing peckerwood, hand it over and say "here you go! Its all yours! You have no right to it, but you can have it because it makes someone cry who cannot bring themselves to tolerate even for one moment that it means something noble in the character of an American people! Use it to scare them forever!"

    Sorry, not while I breathe!

  • I have every right to your confederate flag.

I've attended three confederate flag burnings in the south myself in the last four years! Two of them in Jacksonville, FL and one of them in Savannah, GA.

I suppose that you have a right to say that I have no right to it, based on freedom of speech but, you have no right to even try to keep me from my right to speak the truth about it, what it truly represents, and to demonstrate this belief by burning this flag!

  • Of course I cannot deny you the right to burn the Confederate flag, anymore than I can actually stop some white-sheet wearing peckerwood asshole from waving it and spouting disgusting comments about African Americans and Black Southerners....one misuse is as disgusting as the other.

Of course constitutionally you both can do what you want.

Just don't offer me a description of it if you don't mind.

  • Well, according to your description of yourself we are on the same side. But, you are doing it by honoring your racist and slave trade-loving ancestors and I am doing by pointing out the hypocrisy of what you believe in and what you try to uphold.

You and those white sheet-wearing peckerwood assholes are on different sides of the same coin and I am shooting at the both of you from a certain number of paces away...

  • I for one do not believe that I am morally or racially superior to anyone, nor that any so-called race is better in any way.

I also do not advocate violence to achieve my goals...and most certainly at "shooting from a certain number of paces away"

I seek brotherhood with my fellow Southerners of all races who share my views on our shared Confederate ancestors.

And I actively fight ignorance and prejudice whenever I encounter it...hence my reasons for talking to you man.

  • You didn't spell it correctly.

It is spelled bans not bands.

  • hes a member SONS OF CONFEDERATE VETERANS, that means he had to show proof that he is a descendent of a confederate veteran. there were many units of free black men that volunteered to protect the Confederacy from tyranny. they wanted to live in a country where there wasnt taxation without representation. If a state you lived in exercised its legal right to secede by voting to leave the union peacefully and the president then called upon 75k volunteers to invade his own country, ud volunteer

  • Back in slavery days, he would have been a house slave.

  • that is absurd. how would you know what he would be. he is well spoken and educated... if anything he would be a free man. it is very racist on your part to look at someone and say because of the color of their skin you knew who/what they would have been 150 years ago

  • I typed that because he is a major kiss-up to white rednecks. White racists look at him, & laugh, & think he's a good slave.

The way he sings & dances for the white folks.....trying to get on their good side. He's a Jim Crow. An Uncle Tom.

Good ol' Uncle HK. I bet the Klan loves him.

  • oo i dont consider anyone thats a member of the klan human. FYI terms like uncle tom are super racist... he is a descendent of a confederate vet and he is proud of his southern heritage. that has nothing to do with race. it has everything to do with where he was born, raised and where he calls home. if you think he carries that flag and in the back of his mind.. hes thinking "i sure hope some kkk guys see me so i can get on their good side" get real.

  • Zeeboe,

Brother HK is a descendant of a Confederate soldier. He is proud of that fact and he supports it.

I have had the honor of meeting him and I can tell you I do not believe he is deluded, nor is he laughed at by anyone who attended Confederate Memorial functions.

Honorable heritage defenders respect him, and they do not see skin color. They see just another Southern gentleman as I do. They see a man of good humor, of humility to God, and a man who shares their love for Southern roots!

  • lol and if he went back in time they would hang his ass for a shitty reason

  • i bet you are a liberal

  • Nt exactly. I voted for McCain.

  • I've met HK a number of times. He marched from North Carolina to Texas, and I seriously think he carries that flag everywhere he goes.

And he's a damned nice guy.

  • genuine american hero,HK Edgerton

  • are you tellling me folks cant come to tracks with the confederate flag. wow. but this guy gets it. id sure like to meet him. let truth prevail and everyone else cant jump in a creek :).

  • NASCAR only knows how to make bad decisions lately it seems.

  • This man Rocks!!! Let 'all' of us True Confederates learn from him!! Keep the Colors A'Flyin Bro!

  • "bands the flag"

  • I see the audio has been taken away because people fear brother HK's words!

    God Save the Southland!

  • that dudes a retard. NASCAR was

started in the south by moonshiners

  • No sorry SpookeyR thats not what it means to everyone.

  • Be historically revisionistic, easyrider; just make sure that you cut off and/or out your sexual organs so that you can not pollute this world with your demon seed!

It's just the right thing to do.

  • I have watched Nascar since the late 60s but I dont watch anymore. When they closed Rockingham to add new venues.........fuck em! Southerners should all boycot the sport they have sold the sport out for more money, fuck em I will never watch a race or go to one again!

  • wow you are so damn ignorant

the confederate flag stands for freedom from the north

    not slavery

  • then why does the klan wave it?

  • Some KKK Members Displaying The Confederate Flags To Show They're Ancestral Roots, However Those Who Saw Took It The Wrong Way. Now It's Associated Almost entirely With Slavery And Hatred.

Its An Almost Unknown Fact That Clan Meetings Fly American And Even Religious Flags As Well As There Own KKK Flag.

Flags Have Meanings But It Really Depends On Who's Waving It, But The Confederate Flag REALLY MEANS Heritage Not Hatred.

H.K Edgerton Is Proof Enough Of that.

    God Bless Him

    Google him :)

  • wasn't slaver part of the heritage? If so I couldn't and wouldn't want to claim it. couldn't be proud of it either

  • I'm From California So Im Not From The South, Lol But I Will Say that We In The North Arent Innocent, Not By A Long Shot, We Sailed The Ships That BROUGHT THE SLAVES HERE, We beat And Tortured Em Too Before Auctioning Them Off To Whomever.

The South Has A Fantastic Record For "Upkeep" If You Will On Theyre Servants. Here's An example.....

    Its Quote #3

  • And To Note, Except What Has Been Written by NORTHERN History. No Proof Exists To Show That Slaves Were Mistreated In The South.

If Anything They Were treated as FAMILY, Unlike How We Treated Them Up Here, General Sherman Was A Cruel Man To Slaves, he Beat And Even Killed Slaves Up Here.

Heck If I Could Turn Back Time I'd Gladly Go Down To The CSA, My Ancestors So Far As I Know Fought In The Union.

  • There actually are photos, and records of some black slaves being mistreated.

Even if they were treated as "family", the whole concept of slavery is wrong.

Dogs get treated well too, but they're still animals, and that's exactly how "nice masters" treated their slaves, like faithful dogs, and black people are not animals.

  • No Human Being Should Be Treated As Such, I HATE SLAVERY.

We Forget The NORTH Had Slaves Same As The South, I was Saying The Southern Slaves Were Treated better And Fairer.

The Emancipation, Not A SINGLE UNION STATE. So How Can Abe Lincoln Sign A Document For A Part Of the Country He Doesn't Even Run?

The 13th Amendment Passed On December 6, 1865 Freed The Slaves, But The WAR ENDED May 13th, Meaning The Southern Slaves Were Free Then But The NORTH STILL HAD THEM Afterward For A Few Months.

  • The slavery thing is something that can be debated forever.

Preserving the Union was just as important as freeing the slaves.

  • I Suppose On The Slavery Debate It Can Indeed Be Something To Debate For Years, Lol Its Been Debated Since the End Of The War After All.

I Wonder How Another Gov Would Rule This Country Though Considering How Our Present Gov Has Screwed Us Up So bad.

  • xCOMPETITIONx

The fact is that Slavery is a part of the heritage of almost every nation that exists today. Indeed it was a big part of American history for hundreds of years under the British and Spanish flags. Then for another 90 years under the Stars and Stripes.

If you are going to make the claim the Southern Cross symbolizes slavery because if flew officially for only about 4 years over it, as compared to the others, you may want to rethinking your line of reasoning.

  • Well this isn't Spain or Britain so I'm not worried about their flags. I'd say you had a point if it wasn't for the fact that the Klan still waves the rebel flag today, so they know what it means.

  • So now you rely on the actions of the KKK as justification for your views? That truly amuses me.

The Klan continue to MISUSE it because they fly it only because they think it will give credibility of their message of hate to those Southern people they talk to....too bad for them that doesn't work anymore.

The dirty little secret is that the Klan WANTS people like the NAACP to eradicate Confederate heritage so they can formally adopt it. They call people such as you "useful n***ers"

  • Slavery, racism, and the evil upon which those things have their foundation, that is your heritage. H.K. Edgerton is a nigger! And that has nothing to do with his race either!! The true meaning of the word nigger is someone who is ignorant, stupid, etc.

That makes you a nigger too and that also has NOTHING to do with your race!

Get it right, or just get the fuck off the internet!!

  • Indeed and the fact that dmoon indirectly called brother HK that very term is disgusting.

  • freedom from the north that wasn't for slavery?

  • umm do you have any idea what the north was doin to the southbefore the civil war broke out?

taxing the southern people to death

    screweing with our states rights

the north was intruding on our rights and we seceeded legally

i dont want to argue dude screw off

im tired of this bull read up on the subject

  • well the flag stands for whatever you want it to, its all objective

  • It stands for the right to own slaves, free from the laws that make slavery illegal, you historically ignorant jackass! Slavery, racism, and the pure evil that comes with it, along with the fact that that's what confederates back then fought the Civil War for, that is your heritage.

Get it right, or just get the fuck off the internet!!

  • Well then if States Rights stands for the right to own slaves, why is it still in political use today. As I understand Conservative ideology, I see no underlining ideals for wanting to restore slavery in the United States.

Quite the contrary, States Rights is a term meaning that beyond defense and the right to levy certain taxes, the domestic laws of each state belong to them. That each state is its own sovereign.

In short if N.Carolina wants the death penalty and Ohio doesn't, so be it.

  • ugh im not in the mood to argue with a ignorant yankee over southern culture

youre an idiot you have no idea about the south bla bla bla

is that what you wanted to hear?

burn in hell you ignorant yankee troll

  • LOL!!

Go blow it out your ass, you historically and politically ignorant developmentally stunted inbred lying little twit!

  • lol darthroden nice job kicking that idiots ass

though hes just a troll hes trying to piss people off

  • No actually, whether or not I piss anybody off, I am speaking the truth!

And I have left you bloodied and toothless on the sidewalk of despair, just as I have done it to darth for days! And I will continue to do it to you for as long as your remain the racist scum that you are, right here on YT!

  • racist?

umm im native american my best friend is black/white and my girlfriend is white

all youre doing is makeing youre self look like an idiot

i fly the confederate flag to honor the fallen soldiers who died defending there home from the northern imperialists

youre twisting history and telling lies

and i fail to see how you beat me toothless lol

    stupid yankees

im leavin you can keep commenting though i enjoy readin comments from idiots like you it reminds me why i love the south

  • Yes, racist! And if you are truly Native American, you barely literate troll, then you must hate yourself, since white supremacy is at the core of what the confederate flag represents.

I speak the truth and you call them lies?! This just proves how ignorant you are and how raped your mind has been, by inevitably a family member, to get you to believe such trash!

  • SpookeyR, I take great solace in the fact the next generation is liable to be more tolerant that you.

Ever heard the saying about never being prejudiced because that's who your daughter or grandchild is liable to end up with?

LOL maybe someday your granddaughter is going to be embarrassed to bring her y'all talking Southern-boy boyfriend around because she doesn't want to expose him to her bigoted, Confederaphobic grandpa?

Now that's a vision for the future I can live for.

  • Thank you edgehead, my Southern brother!

The only thing Spooky does is make himself look foolish, hes excellent at it.

We have nothing to prove to those unwilling to look beyond the blinders they put on life. We know who we are, and who brother HK is and that is all that matters.

There will always be people like Spooky who spout hatred in the name of righteousness, because he really hates himself and wants to spread that pain to others. Folks like him are to be pitied.

  • once again dude im not going to argue just got to say its sad youre even here starting this crap

you would think you would have somthing better to do then sit here trying to piss people off on you tube

just screw off man youre getting youre ass handed to you by darthroden know when to shut up

now because you hate it so much im going to go salute my confederate flag

    have a good one

oh by the way i really hope you see youre being an ignorant douche and need to rethink youre life

    :)

  • I have pounded darthrodens brains out of his skull, you barely literate inbred little troll!!

I have spoken the truth about the true history of the confederate flag and I will continue to do just that for as long as you and those like you exist anywhere on the internet! Racism, slavery, and the pure evil upon which those things have their foundation are your heritage.

Why don't you just admit it??

  • Listen Spooky, Im not here to score points off you...though I do enjoy doing so.

You claim to fight racism, and yet you take the exact stance on the Confederate flag as do those who MISUSE it for racial purposes.

To me there are only two sides to this issue: You love the Southern Cross, or you see it as racist.

If you love it, you are like me, edgehead, and HK.

If you see it as racist, then you are in the same camp as the KKK bastards who MISUSE it.

There it is in black and white.

  • I don't see it as racist bc the flag is not a corporeal freethinking person that has it own opinions, desires, etc.

But, it does represent those very things since it is those very things that the south was fighting for, previous to and during the Civil War! And being historically revisionistic about it doesn't make you right, it just makes you stupid...

It is hard to free fools from the chains they revere. - Voltaire

...but damnit, I'm going to try!
