for some reason house of the dead doesn't work well for me on the wii. the sensor won't pick up the crosshair and i can't shoot. every other game works so it's not the controllers, it's the game. anyone else has this problem?

As far as one what i heard is that the hardware needed to play it is very difficult to emulate on the wii. I believe they want to make more money so they will probably sell part 4 seperatly for 50-60 bucks.

Cmtz is pretty much right. Sega claims that it would be hard, but not impossible, to bring House of the Dead 4 to Wii. Also, the reason they did 2 & 3 was because they are hard to find in Arcades, while House of the Dead 4 is still out. I believe that 1 was too dated, but I could be wrong there.

And Also They Want people To Still Currently Play House of the Dead 4 in arcades as it's still easy to find unlike 2 & 3,

I would recommend playing it without the zapper. It's much more fun with the wii remote. You could also pick up the perfect shot from Nyko. Now that's a gun.

i wanna buy this but i dont know whether i'll need to buy the wii zapper, the wii zapper, or the wii perfect shot. i dont think i'll need to use the nunchuk, so the cheaper wii perfect shot sounds better to buy. but in the end i'm really not sure. can someone who owns the game let me know? im cheap as fuck and i dont wanna buy the more expensive zapper if the perfect shot will get the job done. (plus, i dont like how the trigger is further up on the zapper, as opposed to the normal perfect shot

You don't need the zapper or a gun shell to play the game. You can play it just fine with the wiimote by itself. Sure, it would be better and easier with the shells, but they are not required.

Alright.. Sega really messed this up, IMO.

If they're gonna put out a collection, they should have put out all the HotD games.
