he is by far one of the best leafs scorers the leafs have had in a very long time. He's without a doubt in my mind a potential 40-50 goalscorer for the majoity of his leafs career. but they desperately need someone else up there with him. the talent level of the leafs are very very very thin up front. Maybe Kadri could prove to be the playmaker and skilled forward they need for Kessel going foward from next season.

Only time will tell if he was worth 2 first rounders and a second rounder. He is very good but that was a steep price to pay. We took Towes that year at #3 Boston took Kessel at 5. We made the right choice.
