idk how to post jpegs. tech stuff is beyond me. [ i have sevl light fixtures that i cant screw bulb into.] the 3 pics are black and white. 1 is a couple dancing, 1 is 2 kids [1 clapping/1 dancing], and 1 is a woman in a dress just standing. i have someone coming over who says he knows something about art. maybe they arent even done by hand. i cant tell. i just saw his other work for the 1st time today. i didnt even know he was famous. its right in line with his usual style.
just my luck if they r cheap prints. a chinese person once told me, from the inscription on the bottom, that i had a valuable vase. turns out it came from lord & taylor. its probably best if dont discover i'm rich. i might discover that i'm just a stingy, selfish rat who lets kids starve so i can have some 'valuable' art on my wall. and my kids wd kill me if i sold them and gave the $ away. it turns out i gave away my son's original tintin collection. but he's not mad. good kid
gracias por estas pinceladas del genio extraordinario, que como Leonardo da Vinci, tocó muchas cosas (caricatura, ilustración, pintura, etnología, antropología, danza, etc....)
This is the Film Music Society CD of Rozsa's 'Jungle Book'. Actually, it works well with these images. 'We're Jungle Creatures'! He's a great caricaturist. I'd never seen his work before, so thank you.
Thank you for the fine video work, here and on Sabu. BTW Criterion has just released the Thief of Bagdad in a new, uber-restored edition with a Ray Harryhausen interview (He's still alive!!). I have bored my family to death playing it three times!
Oops, i made a mistake, oddly the Covarrubias is from the Jungle Book 1942 and the Sabu music is "Jungle Madness" from the kitsch sounds of Martin Denny (late 50s)
i have 3 of his drawings! please tell me i'm rich, rich, rich!

The music is called "Animals of the Jungle" by Miklos Rozsa from the soundtrack of the movie "Jungle Book" 1942.
jonrendell 3 years ago
Both pieces of music came from the Jungle Book movie 1942 soundtrack. A limited number of copies of the cd were released a few years back.

Oh! Well this is just awesome. Thanks for providing me with the link!
(I enjoyed the Sabu homage, too)
So, what's the background music you've used??
