Summertime IIT, Wesstsside. Chi-Town. One year Kevin Garnett and Ronnie Fields were a notch below Mike and Scottie in chicago fame...They were city superstars at Farragut
yea high school rims are not any lower than regulation same with middle school. If that was the case it would be an even harder transition from high school to college than it already is
ok so i got a little story for everyone... kg back in mauldin liked to play at a park a few blocks from his house (because his stepdad wouldn't let him have hoop in their driveway) and here keving played against the best of mauldin and he was kind of picked on by the bigger kids but one day kevin got a shot to get a big put back slam. he did it and made the biggest kid there fall into a puddle of mud. pretty sweet huh? i did a report on him last year in family consumer science haha.
im glad to see that somebody finally acknowledge the fact that he started in Mauldin,SC and not Chicago. (no disrespect to the Chi) We had fun in Chi-Town but it all started back in Mauldin! Those clips brings back memories! Whoever would've know what the future was about to bring!?!?
kevin garnett the best well its funny how som1 like gasol can dunk on him when he wants too and garnett hasnt dunk on him yet.....the best? hmm not sure
im not sayin that garnett is the best, but saying that hes not just because gasol dunked on him is jus weak... gasol isnt that bad too, im saying kg can easily destroy gasol, but sayin he aint sumtn jus becoz gasol dunked on him is weak
Prodigy you didn't watch the finals did you. Your comment is about as ignorant as they come. You can see on youtube in the highlights that you are 100% wrong.
haha sweet dunks, wow he can jump high. I cant imagine coming up against guys who can dunk like that in my High school games. He was throwing the ball down so hard :) KG is tha best!!!
This Mix is superb. Thank you again for the good videos!!
I can see that KG really enjoyed the game when he was young. I'm amazed that he can maintain his passion and love for the game for so many years. Yes, he was very explosive and also a bit raw at that age but he was so passionate! It's great to see what KG has consistently been over the years.
garnett was definitely the best player but not the best dunker on his team ronnie fields was just a great dunker not player...although im sure he would give me work on the court, but anyways imagine trying to stop this guy in high school that would suck.
You are right. Hey do you how I can get my hands on the westinghouse and farragut game? I played at westinghouse but have not been able to get my hands on the tape to show my kids.
ok man, i didnt want to make u angry!!! it was just a thought!!! i think the same way about Starbury, but who are we to judge??? and btw the words you appreciate are real and i mean them in all my comments about ur vidz!!!
No worries man, I wasn't angry at all. I was just trying to explain why I wouldn't quite know how to approach a KG-Steph mix. On the one hand, I have good memories of those two years. But on the other hand, KG has done so much better without Steph.
hey, i was there in chicago when steph used to come down and play in some of chicago tournaments with KG. I played at westinghouse. do you know how I can get my hands on the westinghouse and farragut game? Either one when we play them at home or away game. I just started this acct today to just comment on some of the things that has been sd. both steph and KG are my guys. I was upset when steph demanged the trade for more money. I thought that would never happen b/c of how close they were.
as always u r the best Garnetttribute, and i mean it. i've noticed that u are a Wu-Tang fan also.(me 2:D) btw the combination of KG and Wu is, as The Rze would say FATAL !!!! anyway have u considered making a vid of KG and Starbury in their 3 years together? NOW THAT WOULD BE FANTASTIC!!!! in the end this is a another superb vid from ur production! keep em coming!!! i'm always looking forward to watch ur new vidz! ONCE AGAIN NICE JOB BRO & much love from Macedonia!
Thanks a lot, I appreciate the words. And yes, I definitely would like to lace more mixes with Wu-Tang tracks.
It would be interesting to make a mix of KG and Steph. But I don't have enough footage of them from those two full seasons they played together. And come to think of it, I wouldn't quite know what to do with such a mix, because I'm not too fond of Steph -- not since he bolted Minnesota.
I will be the first one to say he was a beast, I played again him in highschool. my man gave us 45 with the flu. I went to westinghouse high school. also, me,kevin and ron mercer were roommates at the nike came in chicago. I was trying to convince to come with me to westinghouse. but my man ronnie and coach wolf had him sew up.
