for the most part if you use round nose bullets they usually don't come back straight at you. Wadcutters tend to come straight back at you if you shoot a solid surface. Hell you can bounce a bullet off water too.

they do make blank cartridges but the barrels are plugged so the prop gun can cycle a new blank because with no bullet in the cartridge there is no pressure to push the slide back so you don't get any flash coming out of the barrel.

Although highly illegal it's really not that difficult to make any automatic handgun full-auto. If you want a select fire option that's gonna take some more work, but still possible on most handguns.

Good luck finding a gunsmith that will do it for you though.

i have gotten a chance to shoot a fully automatic mp5 (there was a swat officer at a local range) and its not hard to control full auto at 25m it would not be hard at all to control a full auto spray on a human size target (i only missed one round out of 30) and that was only my 2nd time shooting ever
