Frank I would love to try your sauce. I just started the zucchini made into pasta and love it. But a few questions on the sauce. I will not use soy, GM and is a fungus. Will it still taste as good? Also I can't take really high acidity. With the tomatoes and a lot of lemon juice, 1/2 cup is this really high in the acid. Can I cut out or limit the lemon juice and still get the same great flavor everyone loves. Or are they other things I can use to replace. Thanks Frank.
@frankferendo I did and I used roasted bell peppers red would be the best. But I had more orange and yellow. I also used roasted garlic. Then put in sundried tomatoes in olive oil. and fresh basil. No dates or any of that yet because I am on a special diet to get my blood sugar under control. Which I have I must say. And to rid myself of fungus and sugars feed that. But I have to say for those of us to can't have so much acid this was to die for.
Thank you so much for this recipe! I just made this sauce (with one exception. I substituted a red bell pepper for the dates since I forgot to buy them) and it was SUPERB! My 10 year old even loves it! This is my new favorite meal and I thank you so very, very much!!! Oh..and I almost forgot I added broccoli to mine for some crunch. YUM!
I made this sauce but I added avocado to it, ..and it gave me horrible stomach cramps. Is it because it had lemon in it? if anyone knows about food combining
this is absolutely wonderful and creative! thank you! :)
and by the way is it just me, or are the zucchinis that you're using just HUGE?? haha everytime i go to the grocery store - they're like 1/4 that size.... do you grow your own?
Thanks Frank! I just made this & it was fantastic! My daughter loved it too! I am "newly raw", and have been looking for a few recipes to be my sure-things while I make the transition. I want some simple, few-ingredient recipes, and this is a WINNER! Thanks!

I loved that recipe but the soy sauce is no good
I'm kind of, sort of, off-the-fence with it but I'd definitely eat that pasta.

Hi Frank,
so nice to see a man do a raw food video for a change. Yum! Just what I was looking for. I might suggest tossing in a 1/4 c of fresh basil, IMHO.

It is called a spiralizer. You can buy one on line at Natural Zing. About $25.

Thank you micka for your encouragement. Yeah, the transition can be trying, but only if we are too hard on ourselves. It takes time.
