Don't use tape, it makes it look sloppy, when you paint it it wont stick, and the tape will begin to peel due to the moister of the paint, that is if you want to paint it.

I've used a bunch of clear tape, and the paint , for 4 months, on my vlahalla base never peeled. If you attempte to scratch it hard, it would come off, but it's not like i play with this stuff.
