No it's not the prime of a basketball players in 28-333 for a guard especially someone with the physical condition of Kobe.

thats not correct.

the prime for an nba guard is 27-29 or sometimes 30.

the body starts to slowly diminish after 30, and it is most noticeable in guards.

thats what made Jordan's first 3-peat so special; it literally was happening right in his athletic prime. then he retired in 1993 at the age of 30, and it was already slightly noticeable that his athleticism was beginning to stagnate.
