hi my daughter has total colonic hirschsprungs disease also she is 6 months old and she is in the list to get a transplant...........what is the procedure your son is getting ?
@itzelmr22 Hey.. my son too has total colonic HD. he got his colon removed. He's 21yrs old & have undergone multiple surgeries to cure it but its still unsuccessful. Is it really possible for him to have intestine transplant??? Could you refer me a doctor for it...plz reply soon
I was born with the same this as this lil guy!!!! I was told it is very rare for girls to be born with this, and there is no trace of anything similar in my family and ancestory...still curious about how it happened... same with my sister :P im almost 14 and im happy and healthy, good luck lil champ!!!

I was born with Hirshsprungs but the doctors think that I have a psigologic case.
at the age of 11 one doctor made the exactly checks and I was ;after the operation about 8 months with the little bag in my stomach and in the end ;on the last operation 3 of 3 pull out;the bowel was entered and since then I have a great life
I AM 46 years old and the operations was in Uruguay in the year 1977
Hey ladies, my son was also born with a rare form of Hirsshsprungs. He has what they call Hirshsprungs Disease with skip lesions. He had his whole colon removed and his small intestine brought down to his rectom after he was 3. Hes 9 years old now and absolutly perfect. He has accidents at night but besides that hes completly normal. Hes great in sports and school. Hes my inspiration! Im glad your little guy is doing good!
My son has HD too, he's 6 months old and we are waiting for him to be strong enough for the surgery for the pull through.He also has a NG tub.Does your little guy still have it ? Or is it a G-tub now?

I was born with Hischsprungs and now I'm 35 so don't you worry Jacob will be just fine. Your not alone, keep your spirits up.
