  • wow that cars realy gay that car must take it every night

  • You lost your engine boy. Going like 1 or 2 cylinders out of the way. Better to sold that kinda car even it has the power of your dreams...

  • It's not a cam sensor it's a vacuum leak. You can hear it when he restates it. It whistles like it gasping for air. Spray carb cleaner all over while its running and eventually it will run funny. Then you've found it

  • its the cam sensor dude! piece of piss to change

  • another dumb teenager with another gay ass fucking honda hondas are slow as balls there not hot rods give the fuck up dumb ass hondas im so tired of hearing that terrible untuned high pitched 2 stroke sound that comes from 4 cycls

  • @davegreensucka Lemme guess, you're some redneck with a mullet cut blasting country as you barrel through some dirt roads in your beatup pickup. Firstly, the car is a 6 cylinder. Secondly I was in my mid twenties when this happened. Now when did they start having internet connections in the trailer park? Tell your wife/sister I said whats up.

  • @merherher lol i would think by mid 20s ud have more sence im 19 and just skipped the impot trash and built a prety nice small block s10 i live in philadelphia so not many dirt roads around here or country stations for that matter

  • @davegreensucka Yeah you skipped "Impot" trash as well school it seems since you were 12. It's quite evident you're an idiot.

Carbidutz, and anyone else for that matter, I posted this over 3 years ago when these symptoms first appeared. After I tore the motor down, we saw the 3 pistons experienced detonation, thus saying in the update "3 fried piston rings". I know whats wrong with the car, stop giving stupid answers, it has already been diagnosed and the car was sold already.

  • @merherher I didnt noticed it was so old. Dont blow a gasket over this now lol

  • @davegreensucka AHHAHAHA s10 ehh buddy u fucking moron my " 2 stroke sounding 4 cylinder " will DESTROY your s10 any day and use half the gas and be 1,000,000 x sexier get real u fucking goof JDM ALLDAY!

  • @merherher hahaha.well said.btw was it related to your idle control valve ?

  • @merherher LMFAO!!!

  • @merherher

Lol im with you. YEa hondas arnt that fast stock. But they can be pretty quick. I imagine he is a toothless inbred moron.

  • @merherher yes i would rather bang my sister than drive a gay honda that you and your boyfriend touch each other in. fag

  • @davegreensucka actually, one of my friends has a civic and i have an 86 supra, 3.0 liter straight 6, 24 valve, he modded his car and he can keep up with me. you're just a stupid fuck.

  • @xelementassassin sweet a modded civic can keep up with ur stock naturally aspirated supra

  • @davegreensucka i'm just sayin that a civic has to be modded to be able to keep up.

  • my car does the same thing. idk why

  • check the hoses that happen to my si

  • Cause you supercharged it...

  • id say something havin to do with either fuel injectors or the spark plugs..the reason i say spark plugs is because when you start it back up it seems to be running on like 3 cylinders but dont bash me for what my guesses are

  • hey!! my car use to do that too go and change out ur fuel pump!! it'll cost around $100 to $150 but once u get it changed that shouldn't happen anymore

  • hahahha thats y u dont boost a lot with that supercharger. thats y ur piston rings blew!!! upgrade pistons imidietly and BOOST EVEN MORE!!! LOL! this video is probably way too old and u did something different! HHAHAHAHHAH

  • i say new battery

  • had the same prolem check the mass sensor

  • thats why u get a honda or toyota!

  • Acura is made by Honda!

  • Actually Acura is only using some shells and the engines of honda.

  • hmmm.... no, honda makes them = )

  • Well acura makes certains shells and put honda engine in it. Some acura are just debadge.

  • this is nothing new, everybody knows this.... but Acuras are simply Honda models with a different nameplate. They are based on the same Civic and Accord platforms that underpin all other Honda-made vehicles. Acura models are sold as Hondas everywhere but North America and Japan. there, now you know what everybody else knows ^_^

  • some americans.... are to simple.

like said before, if you listend to the motor , you hear that the motot isn't running on al cilinders. 1 or 2 are heaving a rough time..

  • confused.. you dont know whats wrong with the idle but you say its 3 pistonrings and your gonna change motor..? if thats not the case, it could just be (i have bad english) the idleregulator, or something.. its called tomgangsregulator in norwegian(tomgang=idle).

  • hes not holding down the clutch until he starts driving

  • its out of gear

  • look for damaged/worn/corroded spark plugs or bad valve seats. tighten intake/exhaust bolts. hope this helps!

    Scott

  • listen to the car. Is not running on all cylinders, you can hear it if you turn up sound. 2 listen to the sound it makes when restarting, not a smooth start up. I would say you have lost compression on 2 cylinders.

  • BUY A NEW TRAN.

  • Some of you people are retarded and don't bother reading the info in the video. I fried 3 piston rings from the car running lean due to my supercharger. That is it.

This is over a year old....

  • screw you ass face...ppl are trying to help you non-mechanicly inclinde ass.

  • HE KNOWS WHAT THE FUCKING PROBLEM WAS...... and its already been fixed i assume

  • @merherher the piston rings can be changed and any other dammage and you bought a new engine?

  • Tried changing your plugs?

  • this is rare for Honda models. Same with Toyota and Nissan, but this is all common in American brands.

  • apparently you don't know cars it sounds like a O2 censor cause mine was doing that this weekend after burning to rich for a week due to mine being out and it was a honda

  • Could be a bad car then. Get another Honda then. Honda/Toyota/Nissan have been recommended more than American brands.

  • No they have issues all the time but what they are good for are there Vtec motors witch can lost longer then the body of he car and the reason why more people own them then GM,Chrysler,Ford is cause our cars are power boats off the lot so lower MPG compared to the foreign models

  • So then, why has GM told my 2 friends that they only make their products to last 250,000 miles at the most??? And then Ford has too many fire recalls, and Dodge has the most defects... But let me guess, that makes American brands the best, cause they break down all the time...

  • umm i really do doubt GM said that and GM is currently leading when it comes to hybrid/Fuel cell motors ford is well ford and dodge hasn't had any issues that i know of or seen BTW i work in the Humvee plant meaning i know GM motors cause thats my department Honda nissian and Mis are known for damn good vtech 4 cyl and inline 6 motors they suck for V8

  • No, Toyota is actually leading the Hybrid line-up. GM borrowed Toyota's hybrid technology, heard it this morning on the radio to work. And yea GM did say that. Many of my friends and relatives know that! We have told everyone around too.

  • nope GM did not say that and anyways if a motor last 250,000 mile then thats a damn good motor cause 99% of the foreign cars don't even last to 150,000 and if you want proof of that go to a salvage yard and look at all the nice condition foreign cars and then look at the miles they have on them and again working for GM kinda gives me the upped hand when it comes to knowing there motors and what there corp says and nope GM has the only working fuel cell car ford has the hybrid

  • Yes, foreign motors do last. I had 2 friends that worked at a GM plant, and their boss told them GM only makes their vehicles to run 250,000 miles or less. One of them works at a Toyota plant now, and they are built to last, and if you EVER have trouble with the Toyota you got now, then they'll replace the motor for free. (Toyota policy) GM doesn't do that. And thats very ironic, every junkyard I pass by has moe Fords, Chevys and Dodges more than Honda's, Toyota's and Nissan's.

  • ok so you are from Indiana and your up north by the south bend area and if so i would suggest you go to main street salvage and look around cause there yard is full of foreign cars and strange thing is toyota honda and nissan all have the same warentey that chevy and ford has witch is 100,000 miles or 5 years and also look at what is used the most when it comes to drag racing aka older cars and my dads truck had 300,000 miles on it before rebuilding the tranny

  • Then why does used car lots sell Toyota's the most?

  • cause there cheap to buy and have better MPG

  • GM, Ford and Dodge have worse resale than Toyota.

  • my brother had this, its the catalyzator - hope u get it fixed soon

  • your cars timing might be out of place a bit m8

  • (MAF) Could be the Air flow censer

  • ya its the catalyzator tell the dealer he will fix it for free. mine did

  • i have the same car...and i had just a month ago the same problem, thats the catalyzator...:)

  • Sounds like it needs a good tuneup. Also, check the spark plugs, fuel pressure, fuel filter, air filter.

  • check throttle body for carbon build-up, also replace (IAC)V.

  • looks like a blown throttle position sensor.
