This is very unproffessional of Citizen to expose these women like that. They should have pixeled their faces as not to humiliate them. In Europe even the faces of rapists and murderers are pixeled, but in Kenya two women, who out of desperation, stole from a store are publicly humiliated.
walalala! mimi, wangeiba wafagie supermarket yote, nanisijue ni nini inaendelea, sikujua unaeza sunda vitu kwa mguu hivyo na utembee kama kawaida! ati ni wapi huko tena???? no wonder
For someone to shoplift essential goods esp food stuff means there's a big problem somewhere. People shoplift expensive goods that one wants but cant afford but NOT needs esp NOT FOOD. Naomba serikali usaidie wananchi.
@kavoipaul You have a point...these women are stealing food. Crime of this kind is not a matter of character but circumstance. Shame on the big tummied mps who refuse to pay tax,
its a worldwide phenomena- shop-lifting...why humiliate them?....just charge them in court....innocent till proven guilty stance.... what if the court released them....Citizen and the supermarket would pay millions in defamation
Citizen this is very unethical journalistic practice. That is not how to depict the weak in the media. Shape up
