  • Shut the hell up. Keep your shitty ass remarks to yourself and shut your dick sucker before somebody comes and busts you in it. Joel is just trying to come across a positive message for the ignorant ass holes like you. I have no more to say to you. I have better things to do than to sit here wasting my time on some immature dumbass bitch that is going to burn in hell FOR EVER just for that dumb stupid little remark right there. For all the others that commented with something good for people to

  • love you pastor Joel

  • But what if you try to be good but because of fearful and hateful people they try to make you look bad or want you to be angry? How do you stay happy when you feel like people love to judge others but never love to be judged? Why a lot of the time it is perfect strangers who hate you just because they want to get a pat on the back from their group for hating on someone? It's sad.

  • Praise God....ty Jesus....

  • Joel Osteen is a cult leader..period this is part of emergent church thinking. This is simply part of the apostate church talked about so much in the Bible. Beware of it..it will trick many into a false belief system ..a road to destruction. Beware also of Mormonism, JWs and the most evil Catholic system..allpart of the turning away of truth and following anti christ

  • @111ryanesau Get your head out of your ass.

  • thank u.

  • If u not about positive....why bother...get yall lives together

  • This is about GOD....WHY DONT YALL SHUT UP....U ARE ALL SOME SELFISH INDIVIDUALS

  • Brilliant teaching! Thank you so much!

  • It is such a Joy, and Blessing to listen to Joel teach us about God, and how to be a better person. Thank You.

  • Amen, Pastor Osteen. ♥ Great message.

  • I really cant believe this guy is a pastor. Give me a break. People dont desire God anymore.

  • @lowbattery34

joel is only saying things we should have known since 1st few days as a christian,,yet the people are like astonished at his message.

once God brings texas into His Judgement, oil industry will collapse, water will be scarce, or perhaps a EQ in the carribe will bring a sunami, however it happens, houston will fall.

my message is for the few faithful to gather together and live apart from this false church.

Will God use me in this way?

    When?

    Where?

    Q's I have no answer

  • @lowbattery34 ::: He is a pastor to the largest 'flock' in the USA. And you can't believe it? People do desire God, and they receive Him while watching Joel.

  • why is sunday correctly spelled SINday.

go to my page for the answer.

how long will texas take that big smile joel wears., while texas burns in a deadly drought?

Jung forwarned to ignore the feeling function, has its consequences.

the only reason joel seems bright, is due to the great great darkness which protestantISM has blinded america.

these are milk things we should all know in 1st yr as a christian.,,yet many remain as babies.

  • Joel is very encouraging and inspiring. i am going thru great adversity. After 6 1/2 months of darkness, listening and reading to him really helps. The first two days of listening to Joel, I felt like the enemy is working hard on my stinkin thinkin extra-ordinary hard because he knows I am trying to renew my thinking.

I know god gave Joel a gift to be a blessing to others.

Yes he gave me hope in my darkest days too. He is helping me to sing a new song in my life.

  • Joel has changed my life, his words enrich my heart and soul and he give me hope on my darkest days...he is a shining light in my life. I am so happy I found his teachings online, as I am going through a very difficult time in my life. Joel gives people hope, and positive ideas on how to help themselves. I am so happy I found him, bless Lakewood Church!

  • I have great financial need after Katrina destroyed my business,,i wrote to Joel/Lakewood about short term support, which i will pay back once i get stable..No word as yet..Joel is not keeping his words..here i am trying to do God's good work and study His Holy Word,,yet no help from Lakewood's big bank acct.

If Joel help's me, I will believe he is a Son of God.

  • @paulfbest :: YOu have Osteen confused with a bank. How do you manage to do that?

  • The fact that people say Joel is a great preacher only means they have never heard good preaching.

  • @joeforHistruth ::: But they have, and Osteen is it. Your 'great preaching' may be great oratory, but the message is not plain as is Joel's.

  • @k0smon They have heard great ear tickling, they have heard messages that appeal to their sinful flesh. Good preaching is the word of God proclaimed and explained.

  • @joeforHistruth :::Since when does being in the will of God appeal to the sinful flesh? "God, show me somebody I can bless today." Quote from Joel's sermon. "Find somebody you can be good to" He is asking people to live their Christianity. No ear tickling here.

  • @k0smon Will of God? Joel? Not that watery pep talk.

  • @k0smon Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. 1 John 2:22

  • @joeforHistruth ::: Is Jesus the son of God, or is he God the Son? An age old question settled by the council of Nicea in 325 AD. But there are some who are not satisfied by that answer. How can he be God if he does not know the date of his return? Why would God pray to God? Why would he say "My Father is greater that I."

  • @k0smon He is both. Not believing who Christ is is damnable. You will die in your sins, and face Gods wrath forever. John 8:58.

"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

Revelation 1:8 Read this in context, this is Jesus talking.

  • I wish they have a love button.

  • God called for preachers not motivational speakers. God did not call us to live like millionairs. Wide is the road to destruction and (many) go through it. His church is full cuase he tells people what they want to hear..When he denied in Lary King that Jesus was not the only way, that was the WARNING sign!!

  • @RainbowSwagg915 :: Did God call you to preach? See the life of R G LeTourneau regarding how God wants you to live. People don't necessarily want to hear that they need to change their way of thinking. He never denied that Jesus was the only way, he just refused to be judgmental. Let us be warned against your way of thinking.

  • shop the "have faith dream big bracelets" at 2HAVEFAITH(DOT)COM

  • Ive heard many of Osteen sermons . Hes used many Bible verses & seems to quote accurately but he gets acompletely different meaning out of verses than I ever would. If I asked U to find this in Scripture using a search program, I doubt U would have much luck.Especially if U search in translation text. A growing trend is Christians like to choose what they like in God’s Word. They like feel good preachers,, but I know that they won’t get the true picture from listening to Osteen

  • @onstageagain

Yes this is true, Joel has a knack for making folks feel really happy.

He has 40K and millions on line, so why should he change his ideas?

  • @onstageagain ::: And just what is this "true picture" you think people should have?

  • @k0smon Well, in a nutshell..Joel's teachings R nothing short of sweet bread for the pew sitters. He admits he doesn't want to talk about anything negative. Sin, hell, God's wrath onto unbelievers at the end time R not part of his vocabulary. He admits he just wants people to feel good & feel good about themselves. Sad part of this is he then should have become a counselor not a preacher.

  • @onstageagain ::: Since he addresses his sermons to Christians, he does not speak as would an evangelist speak. It is his decision as to how he handles his ministry. He is very successful at it and is blessed because of it. He is both counselor and minister. If you want to hear negative preaching, go listen to Paul Washer.

  • @k0smon U'r -N- Error. Statistis shows & most Christian leaders agree this generation is most Biblically illiterate in history. Young Christians guide their lives by popular culture instead of Scripture. Consequences is devastating, for Church, & society !

60% of Americans can't name half of the 10 Commandments or the 4 Gospels of the N. Testament. 80% believe the saying " God helps those who help themselves" is in the Bible. 31% believe good people earn there way to heaven.

  • @k0smon

Not knowing truth leaves a person vulnerable to deception. If U get off truth, U move into deception,U think U're walking with God but U-R not! Young people need something to live for & the only thing that really satisfies that hunger, is the Word of God. Pastors according to the word of God, refers to a SHEPHERD both Greek & Hebrew. Therefore duties of a pastor of a literal shepherd. For that to happen U need to KNOW The WORD. Which Olsteen clearly does not.

  • @onstageagain ::: A pastor of a flock needs very few words. He needs to know how to lead the sheep and where to take them. If the 'word of God' was so satisfying, people would flock to it. But they do not. Perhaps because the bible is so easy to misunderstand, that it not easy to assimilate and put into practice.

  • @k0smon #1 - Ur - N -Error,Paul speaks of gifts, The PASTOR is a teacher, the flock, listerners & students. The teacher , teaches! Ever been to school, who does the speaking? The Bible is misunderstood?

People do not understand b/c the HEART is dead set against it.They twist it to fit their sinful attitudes & life style. Anything valuable requires diligent attention. The Bible in some respects difficult b/c it deals with profound realities U'r creator & His relationship with U

  • @k0smon #2) The Scriptures can be understood by anyone willing to put in the effort. Before I became a Christian the Bible was like reading someone else’s mail. Now the letters, R addressed to me! There R at times difficult concepts in the Bible, the final analys R those who sluff off the responsibility to study, making excuses. I like the way Mark Twain put it, It’s not the part of the Bible I don’t get that bothers me, it’s the parts I do get ! Its plainer than most realize

  • @k0smon #3)

Paul wrote striking words about God's mystery,Ephesians 3:3: He made known to me the mystery (I have briefly written) when u read u may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ, which in other ages wasn't known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles & prophets. God's word & will is not unknowable! Through diligent reading & careful, constant study, (Ephesians 5:17). Again, most don't know even Gods commandments.

  • @k0smon #4) Jesus said, "If u abide in My word, u-r My disciples John 8:31

Christians LOOK THE OTHER WAY b/c they LUUUV the pastor, the way he doesn’t preach about a sinful life. They enjoy doctrine of self- gratification.

    I'll conclude by saying...

The day before final exams, a young man said to his professor, "I'll do anything to pass this course." The professor responded, "Anything? Then try studying." Think the Bible is hard to understand? Try studying!

  • @onstageagain ::: Bart Ehrman studied the bible for 7 years, and came to the conclusion it was not the word of God. It did not take me that long at all to come to the same conclusion. I find the bible to be a quagmire of truth and fiction.

Since Joel aims his sermons at Christians, he does not need to preach about a sinful life. After you know what 2 + 2 is, how often do you need to be retaught the same lesson? Christians already know about sin and forgiveness, they don't need a constant rehash

  • @k0smon Bart Ehrman holds no creditability in my books... Ive heard several of his debates. Here on Utube ... Did Jesus Rise From The Dead -Bart Ehrman Vs William Lane Craig ... is an example... Im a Christian... and I study the Bible... as well... However, U are incorrect... U and so is Bart Ehrman.

  • @onstageagain ::: Just because you say so? When you have PhD after your name, I will pay more attention to your opinion.

  • @k0smon I was about to say the same to U... I could care less if U have a PHD after Ur name, doesn't make U or others any more correct on this subject. I study the Bible, & U are incorrect...as well as Bart Ehrman.

Those are my principles and if U don't like that one... I have others.

  • @k0smon A pastor is Not A Evangelist. A better method of discovering meaning of pastor, analyze use of the word in Greek/Hebrew, discover what aspects shepherding R applied to other occupations, how they R applied. Once we understand how the terms for shepherd R used throughout scripture, we understand what to apply to the named in Ephesians 4:11. That passage Apostle Paul cites the office of pastor (poimhn) along with those of apostle, prophet, & evangelist . A Pastor is my Teacher

  • @k0smon The fact that U don't believe in the Bible... I find it interesting that Ur here listening to Olsteen...

Why would I watch Cowboy Movies if I was afraid of horses.

Perhaps desperate for interaction... a slow day for ya?

  • @onstageagain :: !Adios!

  • Doctrines? Hows this heresy grab ya. Eternal hell? no such thing, thats a evil doctrine. Trinity? No such thing, evil doctrine. Tithing? Evil doctrine. The whole thing called *sunday church service*,,evil . So where do I find fault with joel? His optimism about the future. Houston will not escape Messiah's judgement,. Its so far off, he's not concerned. Come it will. Jesus admonishes us *sufficient is the evil of this day, not to worry about tomorrow* Joel is enjoying His Sunshine
  • As Bible Believers, we can disagree on certain doctrinal issues, but never the redemptive work & person of the Lord Jesus Christ. God forbid! God help us to never cease from exposing serious doctrinal errors, & make no mistake about it several of Joel Osteen’s statements on Larry King Live were serious. Very serious. Salvation is only through the redemptive blood of Jesus at Calvary. Nothing is more important & evident in scripture. Listen to Osteen interview on Larry King. U will see !

  • @onstageagain

!st off the bible's translations has errors on CRITICAL WORDS..which trans do I use?

    Glad you asked.

Jewish Pub Soc for olf and Concordant Litereal for New.

*I've never heard of either* of course you have not,.,,but even these 2 finest have ERRORS on KEY WORDS. *Ok so?*,,So I'm ahead of *The Game*.

Yes Joel failed on evil mormonism. God is not angry at all with Joel. Joel is all God has to work with right now, all other *pastors-preachers* are less in God's eyes vs Joel.

  • @paulfbest U don't know Gods relationship with Joel, I listen to " What he SAYS. He proclaimes to be a LEADER of Christian BIBLE beliefs I would expect at least that. Ur preaching to the choir. Joel denied, DENIED salvation through the the blood of Jesus Christ.that alone says hes a liar. Listen to the interview. The Bible says. U cannot enter the kingdom with out it. I'm not interested in Ur preaching, I don't know U. I have 2 ears 1, mouth for a reason. stop preaching & listen.

  • Osteen’s message is a simple self-help message that is both uplifting & accessible. He proudly wears the title of the smiling preacher. His theology has been described as cotton candy, tastes good but no substance.Today’s Christians have been spiritually malnourished with a steady unrelenting diet of judge not, that ye be not judged, tolerant, inclusive junk food doctrine until they R completely void of any spiritual discernment.

  • Wonderful message

  • He doesn't give the Prayer of Repentance!?!

  • @MsClaudia777 ::: He gives the invitation to accept Christ after every sermon.

  • @k0smon Majority of americans can sing along with a favorite entertainer song after song word for word. Most Christians raised in the church cannot recite even one bible verse accurately. They do not read the word of God. The Bible teaches Spiritual discernment , Not judging, discernment. As Christians we R given the WORD, a letter from God, a guide for R life. Any believer who correctly handles the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15) & makes a study of the Bible can identify false doctrine!

  • @onstageagain ::: Is it REALLY the word of God? Bible scholar Bart Ehrman came to the conclusion that it is not. Carlton Pearson says it is man's word about God. I see in the bible such poor quality, full of contradiction and error as Ehrman puts it, that it just does not speak to me with any kind of authority at all. Making believe it is the inerrant word of God will just lead you into further error of understanding.

  • @k0smon If U knew , U would not be directing me away from what I believe. I choose to believe in the the NIV translation & the Strong's concordance. To guide me to a understanding of God... & Jesus Christ his son.

  • @onstageagain ::: I only want you to believe in what really is. To me, reality is God the Father only. The Jesus that we know today is a composite person put together for Constantine's brand of Christianity. It will not harm you if you wish to believe in Jesus. Practice kindness, it is the highest spiritual attribute.

  • @k0smon again... TO U Reality is God the Father only. I want to believe in Reality also. Ive got a handle on it my friend. I read the King James , NIV... I believe in the Trinity. I study under two very learned bible scholors, Chuck Smith " Calvary Chapel , Costa Mesa , Ca. Speaks Hebrew, Greek, English" Book, by Book, verse, by verse. .

Shepherds Chapel, Gravette Arkansas. Arnold Murphy, speaks Hebrew, Greek, English.

"I study the word" currantly classes 3 times a week. "

  • @onstageagain ::: Bart Ehrman recommends the NRSV.

So plumb the depths of Christianity. Keep an open mind. Look for the spirit. Question, think! Don't be afraid to follow your highest light as Carlton Pearson did. You will do well.

  • i am a muslim, and i really like this guy, May Allah bless him

  • those who dislike Joel: you guys stop watching his videos! People just can't help and criticize, well thats one thing i love most about Osteen is his not criticizing for him everybody has a chance..

  • To ALL OF YOU ALL who are hating poor Joel Osteen: Be miserable in your lives, be broke, be religious, be a white sepulcher with dead bones inside. Just SHUT your all ignorants phireses bitter, holier than thou, hater mouths! Thank you for listening.

  • @936justme Majority of americans can sing along with a favorite entertainer song after song word for word.

  • You don't have to listen to Joel and receive anything from his preachings heck if your heart is harden most likely you won't but when you put him in comparison to Satan then say even he quoted the bible is something ridiculous not because he didn't quote the bible but plain and simple listen how he ends the preaching, he invites you to make Christ your lord and savior. Hmm...wow that's exactly what the devil wants for everyone to become saved and find a bible based church, do you see a list Joe

  • Guru Joel......Lakewood has gone Hindu....big time.

  • @KnightTemplari ::: PLease explain your comment about Hindu.

  • @k0smon Joel told that he and his dad spent some time in India. Joel preaches New Thought(Universalist ideals) which is a movement of philosophical-religious thought and action and emphasizing the attainment of health, wealth, and happiness through the control of one's conscious and non-conscious beliefs, attitudes, and expectations by means of deliberately practicing the presence of a benevolent deity. In this approach, With that, Joel is a universalist by linking West and East theology.

  • Thank you very much for preaching the word of God. I learned a lot. God bless always.

  • How rich is he? I know it's a fortune . Just hope the $ my mom sends along with prayers, she geta a good parking space during the Christmas season. JO talks about those things. I only hope God favors ME when I shoot 4 a great parking space over the supposedly lesser beings who also want it the next time I hit the movie theater.

JO a excellent motivational speaker, but the stuff he says has little to nothing to do with the essence of what Jesus spoke about

  • @onstageagain ::: Please explain to us what is the essence of Jesus' speaking and teaching amounted to.

  • I really don't know why those who dislike Joel Osteen say that this is "feel good" stuff but truthfully, I believe that this is God's Wisdom. There's nothing wise about pushing and pushing people to believe that God is all gloom and doom. In fact, he's not, because if you believe that He's all doom and gloom than you have underestimated Yeshua's death on the cross.

  • @nitagirl614 God is NOT all Gloom & Doom. Its Ur job to read the bible every day, Ur salvation is Ur responsibility. Not a Sunday morning feel good guy that gives a feel good story & then , come back next week & get another dose. Its not fun to exercise after yrs of abusing Ur body, but baby steps , grow into giant steps , & eventually exercise is hard because its always work , but it becomes easy. The same with being a Christian , its not all gloom & doom. A every day effort.

  • Wow, some of the comments are so strange. Joel quotes scripture and speaks of basically loving people in this message. I am hoping it is not Christians that are arguing over a sermon. If Christians can't agree, how about we love enough to agree to disagree?

  • @eformationqueen I'm not even a christian, but I love what he says. Who cares if he's making alot of money? If his words make one person happier or more joyful, how can you put a price on that?

  • @lithelulu That's a great thing!I'm not trying to make you a christian

but just because you said that you might become one! That's a great thing!

  • @lithelulu I agree. It is really not my business how much money he makes, but I love the uplifting messages he shares. As a Christian, I believe God gives different ministesr a different style and calling because everyone receives information differently and needs different types of encouragement at different points in their lives. Take Care & God Bless!

  • @eformationqueen I think you said this very well! This is what i have been thinking about myself too, just didnt know how to put it into right words. You just knew hot to put into words,so thank you:D<3!

  • @GrtX Well thank you very much. Just saying what I felt. I don't know why people even waste time arguing over such things. So just adding my two cents. :-) Take Care & God Bless!

  • @eformationqueen Its not What U Believe, Its what U- R - Told in the WORD of God, which is the Bible. It a letter from God to U on how to live Ur life, the goal to fly away & be forever at the feet of Jesus . There is no question if , U know the Word. Most Christians cannot even recite one verse with accuracy because they do not read that letter. It leaves all doubt in the dust! Letting some guy " preacher" doing it for us.To be a leader,it takes study to be able to translate that word.

  • @lithelulu A snake oil salesman, deceiver claiming to know the word. Before the end, Christians will become so lax they will fall for anything. A stealer into office, under the mask of friendship to Christ works takes U down. Read & Understand Ur Bible, Discernment. Take heed that no man deceive U.

Many shall come in my name, saying, I know the Christ; & shall deceive many.

Rem the Madoff Ponzi Scam? He looked & played the part, today hes in Hell. All that glitters is not gold!

  • @eformationqueen I felt the need to reply to something you said. Just because someone quotes scripture doesn't mean they teach sound doctrine. Satan quoted scripture to Christ.

  • @niuchemist Satan sure did... I don't know what that has to do with Joel though. I really like Joel's teachings, and they have been a blessing to me and others. I guess everybody has their likes and dislikes, but instead of arguing over preferences, I prefer to just agree to disagree. Be Blessed!

  • @eformationqueen JO claims to be a leader! Fact is , most Christians couldn't recite ONE verse in the bible if life depended on it. But sing along to hundreds of song by a favorite artist.

It;s Ur responsibility to KNOW the Word of GOD, not a once a week feel good preacher. J.O.sounds good, but he's never been to a bible college,EVER ! Hes constantly misquoting the word. just the basic commands of God he stutters over. Its what makes people feel good they defending, not what they know.

  • @onstageagain Bible college? HA! Avoid that like the plague of black death. JO says repeatedly, *I do not have all the answers, there is much I do not know* what if someone God chooses as His Prophet/Teacher comes to Lalewood? Would Lakewood receive him? I can assure you they will not. Its the old story, read the bible, never once has a prophet from God received a welcome. Except Nineveh. But even they were later destroyed by God for returning to their former sins.
  • This message is awesome & so true!!

  • thank u for sharing this:)

  • This preacher is a billionaire. Whathe preaches are nonsense, yet people crave for any dumb things that he says. sad

  • @Akaneia896 ::: Are you sure he is a billionaire? Have you been sneaking a peek at his tax forms? What he preaches is good Christian living, not nonsense. What's sad is you.

  • @k0smon The pastor of the largest church in the nation! An ambassador for the Lord on TV & refuses to acknowledge the very thing he supposedly has dedicated his life? Something's seriously wrong with this picture. Osteen’s glossing, or apologizing for his serious statements, does not negate his repeatedly refusal to confess that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation

  • @Akaneia896 ::: A billionaire? Have you been snooping into his tax forms? How otherwise would you know? Or are you just blowing smoke? He teaches and preaches Christian living. If you think this is nonsense, you are a sad case indeed.

  • @k0smon Not sure what side of the road U travel. Ur appear to be a Judas type, pretending to love one while playing the other & knowing nothing in depth about either. Ur here defending Olsteen, but other comments promote Atheist, Bart Ehrman Which is it? William Lane Craig wiped out Ehrman in a debate on this subject. Why would a Atheist wonder around listening to Olsteen, while promoting Atheism. Whats Ur purpose? Are U just having a slow day? Read Ur Bible, its more fulfilling.

  • james 2+/3+

  • why waste ur time watching Joel 's sermons if u dnt like it or like his message?

  • @vic88if Because Joel Osteen teaches a watered-down version of the Gospel. He says prosperity automatically comes with Christian faith. It sounds good coming from a fellow man. Jesus said in Luke 9:58 "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to rest his head." Joel's Christianity is a walk in the park. Jesus' Christianity does not mean safety or security. It means persecution, ridicule, or even torture or death. Joel directly contradicts the Word.

  • @BlackTerrus Well said!

  • @joeforHistruth Thanks man. I'm sure Joel's a nice guy, but his teachings are what I like to call "feel-good" preaching. He tells you what you want to hear to keep you filling the seats, not planting seeds. The Christian life is about servitude (which is hard for me to follow sometimes. Selfishness often gets the best of me.). Joel preaches if you love Jesus then you'll have a bulging pocketbook with no worries in the world. Wrong.

  • @BlackTerrus Yes indeed, I've used the feel good term to explain Joel many times. We are never promised an easy cheesy life this side of heaven, more the opposite. I would even say he is a false teacher, because he does not preach the gospel. He also believes Chriatians and Mormons have the same Jesus, which is false.

  • @joeforHistruth Another thing I dislike about Joel is the fact that he doesn't put crosses or any other "religious symbol" in the church because he doesn't want to offend anybody. He also stated in an interview that he likes to focus more on God's grace than he does sin (even though the two go hand in hand). I would agree with your statement that he is a false teacher. He wouldn't stand a chance against a real man of God in a debate. His doctrine is flawed and misleading.

  • @BlackTerrus Osteen on O'Reilly asked if he believed Jesus was the way, the truth & the life, the only way to God. Osteen ignored the ?-? , saying he doesn't get into that. Indicative of his broad positive approach that attracts the masses. A pastor is called to feed the flock the whole counsel of God- from Genesis to Revelation. People interpret his soft-spoken manner as exhibiting a Christ-like spirit & ignore the non-Biblical content traded in for a motivational spiritual pep talk !

  • @onstageagain I like how you put this. Joel is the ultimate motivation speaker. Jesus was not. Jesus and the Bible taught and still teach about how your very traits that make who you are will make you fall short of God's glory. Joel wants people to feel good about themselves to glorify God. Christ commands you to humble yourself to glorify God. He's not very versed in the teachings he proclaims. I wouldn't let Joel teach me basic addition.

  • @BlackTerrus Many have discussed Osteens comments, statements about his beliefs, behavior & preaching methods that show a lack of understanding of his profit driven motives. Watch a Utube video of Osteen on Larry King where he dances around the core ?-? of the Christian faith, What it takes to get to heaven? Joel hems & haws & won’t say that people of different religions won’t make it to heaven. Watch the words come out of Mr. Osteen’s mouth yourself ! Hes leading a flock, to where?

  • @BlackTerrus The only way to be saved & go to heaven is by the grace of Jesus by faith in God. Basic verses every Christian who has accepted Christ knows. Now for the verses that clearly state that only Christians who believe will go to Heaven: Verses clearly state only Christians can go to Heaven. If Joel believed & was a pastor of a Bible-based church, would he preach a false message of hope to people? This is just one of the unbelievable things that comes out of his mouth

  • @BlackTerrus A pastor is called to feed the flock the whole counsel of God- from Genesis to Revelation. In his sermons, Joel Osteen doesn'tt talk about God. instead everything except God. About more pleasant topics like donating $-$ to HIM & positive thinking. His books don’t really talk about God either. It’s just his bland-boring advice on how to live a happy life that has been thought of by other people first, Think positively about U-r self & other such drivel.

  • Comment removed

  • @onstageagain Ohhhh lookie, a dead letter of the word loveless bag of wind! All talk about "Genesis to Revelation" as if that is suppoded to show how MUCH you know! You know NOTHING!

Jesus is all about love. He is n ot about bible belting people you loveless idiot.

Its you who spew drivel! You have no idea how foolish your ignorant statements of Osteen are!

The "Christian critics" on YouTube are the most useless people on earth. All dead letter of the word with no fruit of Jesus!

  • @joeforHistruth ::: With you as an example of Christian love, the religion is doomed. Christ-likeness is certainly not one of your claims.

  • @k0smon Read Matthew Ch.23, see how Christ publically dealt with the Scribes and Pharisees.

And to be honest you wouldn't know or understand Christian love because you are not Christian. Nor would you understand Christ-likeness. You deny Christ, so how can you speak as one having His salvation??

It's unloving to allow false teachers to lie and mislead people,it's unloving to be silent when people are being deceived.

And as I've said before, you are proof that Joel does not preach the gospel.

  • @BlackTerrus Look , don't bother me with your ignorance... got it? Good ! Read your bible... quote me scripture... not some emotional crap... quote scripture... then I can listen.

  • @onstageagain Hahaha. I agree with you on most things and you call me ignorant. But not before bombarding me with comments, two of which are the exact same thing word for word. The sheer size and amount of the comments indicate that you are a man with too much free time who tries desperately to look smart for people you'll never meet face to face. Another thing, I don't have prove myself to you. Anyone who's ever read the Bible can tell that Joel doesn't preach from it, without quoting Scripture

  • @BlackTerrus Ok .... Judge Black Terrus... I bonbarded you with comments .. Bombarded... ? Sheer size indicates to much free time. Im an attorney, Graduating from Stanford doesn't make me smart... but having to get there with a scolorship does. " " I don't HAVE PROVE MYself To YOU? Who's EVER READ The Bible. "not even proper English... your comments are full of incorrect pharases, & english. You want to make comments on me trying to be smart... how bout trying to be a idiot. Good Day...

  • @onstageagain You're just a religious nut. That's all. The "emotional crap" you're referring is obviously a well-read opinion. Just remember, this is the Internet. No one cares that you're so cool because you as an adult can show up a teenager in a debate. It makes you look weak. Remember that the next time you show off, you toad.

  • @BlackTerrus I believe its a sin to live an extravagant lifestyle when so many R-dieing of starvation.

Whats extravagant? I haven't figured that out yet, but when you look up the ladder U tend to focus on what U don't have. Look down the ladder, see how much weve been blessed . Jesus spoke of obligation to the poor. He said to feed the hungry. I doubt I'll ever have wealth compared to Osten, but I'm wealthy compared to the vast majority of the world's population. We all are.

  • @onstageagain Interesting how we justify non biblical teaching to satisfy R-own doubts. " life coach " I like that explanation. I'm reading a book that's brought this issue up again.

Materialism is 1 of today's biggest transgressions. Jesus spoke against wealth frequently. He spoke of R obligation to the poor

Most of Jesus ministry was directed with compassion to the have-nots of society. Jesus didn't live a life of luxury. Rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. He is R example. ~ me

  • @onstageagain :::If we have an obligation to the poor, how can we fulfill that obligation if we are poor ourselves? Your comment makes no sense. If Jesus is your example, then you will become Jewish, as he was a Jewish rabbi. Jesus was not a Christian.

  • @k0smon The first alarming portrait of Osteen’s heart Matt 12:34 deals with the most important subject in the Bible salvation is only through the redemptive blood of the Jesus Christ at Calvary. Nothing more important. Nothing more evident in scriptures. The following scriptures loudly & boldly proclaim Jesus as the ONE & ONLY way of salvation no room 4 misinterpretation /misunderstanding. Bible makes it crystal-clear. Other doctrines may have a argument, but not this one.

  • @k0smon John 14:6 Jesus saith , I am the way, truth & life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me !

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other, 4 there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life & he that believeth not shall not see life; but the wrath of God on him. Other statements from JO on the Larry King interview were blatantly in opposition to the Word of God.

  • I thought you were supposed to preach the Bible at church?

  • @lowbattery34 The bible is not Joel's strong point

  • What a contradictory pile of shit. He tells his 'flock' to use their brain, but if they did actually put aside blind faith and applied some thought to it with the brain that nature blessed them with, they'd quickly realise what a crock of old shit they are believing in. Darwin is spinning in his grave.

  • Joel is a Luciferian!

  • @rentintin2000 you would know this by his fruits not by a picture taken shaken hand with a man supposedly being a devil worshipers.

  • I'm curious, does it matter to anyone who listens to Joel that he thinks Mormons and Christians have the same Jesus? Does that concern you?

  • @joseph82069 Yes! This is a huge deal!

  • @lowbattery34 Yes it is....sadly most don't care. Though I don't know for a fact, but I would say that if this doesn't bother those that listen to Joel than I would say they probably aren't saved.

  • @joeforHistruth I would have to agree with you out of experience. I used to buy into all of this a couple years ago and actually thought i was saved. Then I started actually reading the Bible. I started noticing that Joel completely contradicts Scriputre.

  • @lowbattery34 Yes he does. I would challenge you to warn those that follow Joel. I'm not saying none of them aren't Christians, but many aren't. They need the truth.

  • @joeforHistruth Oh trust me I do. I got Scripture to back everything up with

  • @lowbattery34 Good...

  • I have this on CD, and so thankful to see LIVE:) thank you for being my miracle, God:)

  • @cjsellers2000 It should read exactly what you said. But, it doesn't. I think there has been an interpretation flaw somewhere along the line and we have accepted it for years without thinking. "Lead us not into temptation" and "Help us not to be lead into temptation" are two different phrases with two different meanings. Your jump from one to the other may be what was meant, but it certainly is not what was said. Still think it's stupid?

  • @cjsellers2000 Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom and the glory forever. Amen. The wording is: "And lead us not into temptation" in the Lord's prayer. You're right, God doesn't lead us into temptation. That was my complaint!

  • I am at the end of my conversation here.

  • Being nice has nothing to do with the importance of teaching the Bible. You can learn to be nice by going to a John Maxwell seminar, or attending the Unitarian church. The Apostle Paul was not "nice" to the Judaisers, Jesus wasn't nice to the scribes and Pharisees, God wasn't nice to the inhabitants of the Promised Land, and Elijah wasn't nice to the servants of false gods. Being nice is important for getting along in this life, but it is not the fundamental principle of the Bible.

  • @majajh I think this is a direct application of "Love your neighbor as yourself"? I believe (and know) that is in the Bible. Your ministers who so readily accuse you of sin should remember Jesus' second commandment!
