  • The correct name should be ebelskivers.

    From the looks of it, it is made of pancake batter and given that this comes from Holland, it should be the danish dessert (ofter eaten at breakfast), ebelskivers.

  • @ruelrreyes true, but it's sweeeet!!! because, compared to a regular sized pancake, the smaller ones enables you to taste the added sweetness much much better (powdered sugar/jam/sweet butter etc).

  • tiny pancakes called poffertjes (dutch) - u eat them w butter and fine sugar.

  • we have somting similar in denmark we eat at christmas it's called "æbleskiver" in english "Appleslices" even thoug we don't put apples in them anymore
