  • Hey Dean. I think I was using a pair of AKG C414's for the overheads using the Glynn Johns method of positioning. I record to Logic

  • hi if you don't mind me asking, what is your method for doubles on the bass drum? i currently use my foot, but it isn't good enough for triplet rolls.

  • alright man. what's that pattern you're doing from 0:38/39 until 0:43 between the hats, bass drum, then snare, hi-tom, ride, then floor tom (as far as i can follow! ha). cheers.

  • Its an AKG C418. Pretty cheap but sounds ok. If youre not worried about budget then Sennheiser MD421 are the best Tom mics around
