I just recently noticed that many people are associating "curvy" with what is obviously fat. I knew I wasn't going to talk myself into thinking fat was "curvy". Can't say that I'm very fat now, but I lost that "indent"
My BMI is smack in the middle of what they consider "obese" now, and getting down to my "curvy" weight which is just a little over "overweight.....which is just right for me.
@fonna I was overweight for about 5 yrs, and I lost 77 pounds just walking on a treadmill for an hour a day 7 days a week in three months. I believe anyone can lose weight. When the first 25 pounds came off, I was completely shocked, but motivated. If I would have subscribed to the idea that I was "curvy" instead of fat as if that made me sexier then I would never have taken the long road to get in shape. I'm constantly fighting the weight loss battle, but I'm a healthy BMI & have been for 2 yrs
That weight loss battle, and it definitely is a battle, and have realized it will never go away. A battle most of my life, , so this road is nothing new to me. I can calculate how many calories are in a piece of food , just by looking at it, like some kind of android! LOL....
This will be my fourth major weight loss in my life, however, it is not the mere 10 to 20 pounds "maintenance"....this is the real deal.

I understand what you're saying, but the problem is many fat women try to blame others and use excuses for them being unhealthy and out of shape. "I don't have a problem; EVERYONE ELSE has the problem!" Being "Plus-Sized" is cool and I have no problem with curves at all. But I do take issue with "fat acceptance." Being unhealthy, out of shape, and looking like a mess isn't something people should accept. And too many of the Obese ones try to fit into the "plus sized" category.

just because someone is skinny doesn't mean they are healthy, they could be eating junk food all the time and have a high metabolism and just because someone is fat doesn't mean they aren't healthy, they could be eating healthy and exersicing and just have a slow metabolism. @FolkMetalGoddess No, my perception is not off. Thick and curvy is not the same as being obese. Just like I told woahxgirl94, there is a differece. A thick and curvy woman is someone who has a tight toned body with a larger frame. the thighs are thicker, the hips are bigger and rounder. A person who is out of shape and has a big stomach hanging down over their front is not thick. If a person has a pot belly and the girl is not pregnant, and is not obese, then it is a stomach health issue.

Now, if I had a big pot belly hanging over my belt buckle, (which I don't) that would not be normal. The same is true of women. Ask any health professional or doctor, and they will confirm what I am saying. It is NEVER normal for any man OR woman who is not pregant or obese to have a pot belly. Unless they drink excessively or have a health issue.

I not only talking only about women and men who are grossly over weight, but anyone who is over their BMI (body mass index.) All women should strive to have a WTR (waist to hip ratio) that is narrower than their hips regardless of body type waist size or mass. All men of any culture are attracted to this biologically.

Hold on in case you are slow...let me define "curvy". For a woman to have actual curves she must have an indent meaning a "waistline" not some big azz belly hanging over the front of her pants. A woman with layers of fat is just fat...there must be some muscle tone, flat abs, otherwise she should be considered what she is fat just like a man with a gut. Thank you very much!

@fonna Thanks Fonna. I like to be honest, because people need to focus on staying fit, and healthy instead of trying to make unhealthy body types more ideal. What's more ideal is a healthy heart, and you can't have one with a big gut that forces it to work extra hard! The bigger the stomach the weaker the heart, and the weaker the heart the shorter the life. I have never seen any huge old people, have you?

I just recently noticed that many people are associating "curvy" with what is obviously fat. I knew I wasn't going to talk myself into thinking fat was "curvy". Can't say that I'm very fat now, but I lost that "indent"
My BMI is smack in the middle of what they consider "obese" now, and getting down to my "curvy" weight which is just a little over "overweight.....which is just right for me.
I don't want to be a toothpick , either.

@fonna I was overweight for about 5 yrs, and I lost 77 pounds just walking on a treadmill for an hour a day 7 days a week in three months. I believe anyone can lose weight. When the first 25 pounds came off, I was completely shocked, but motivated. If I would have subscribed to the idea that I was "curvy" instead of fat as if that made me sexier then I would never have taken the long road to get in shape. I'm constantly fighting the weight loss battle, but I'm a healthy BMI & have been for 2 yrs

That weight loss battle, and it definitely is a battle, and have realized it will never go away. A battle most of my life, , so this road is nothing new to me. I can calculate how many calories are in a piece of food , just by looking at it, like some kind of android! LOL....
This will be my fourth major weight loss in my life, however, it is not the mere 10 to 20 pounds "maintenance"....this is the real deal.
I'm happy to hear how you've done it.

I wish people wouldn't have a misconstrued perception of what's fat and what's thick. If a woman has big double D's or C cups with the booty the match then in reality depending on her height she will never be skinny as rail. And some of this women are not fat there just the size to accommodate all that booty and breast. I mean if precious was up in these slides or respucia (norbit) then I would've been dem fat ugly women. But again there's a different between thick and fat.
