@montemini177 hey. buddie. hes like 11, hes a good singer for that age and he can rock the strings. those are the chords hes playing, and he can put the chords whereever he wants to make it so he can sing the song in his range. if he was to put it on the first fret it wouldnt sound as good and he would be straining his voice to reach the notes. so i dont know what YOURE doin here trying to sound like you know everything.

@ATsax501 This is one of the first songs I teach my students, and they always want to make it sound like the recording, and the recording has capo on 1 and em,g,d and a. Thats the REAL way to play it, and thats how the band play it. I think i'll know a bit more about key's than you since I teach guitar, and I understand he might have put it into the key for his voice, but all I was saying is that its not the origional/real way to play it. Put some thought into your comments before having a go.

Once your mature enough to leave your mum and dads house and start living/earning money independently then you'l understand the idea of 'students pays you-so you teach student what they want-you get payed and asked back'. Wow, wishing won't make it true. Just last Saturday I thought to myself "I wish I could learn an instrument". later that day I went out and got a guitar. Now I play 2 hours a night. It's a great skill to have, and don't just wish it, make it happen! Dreams are useless if you never pursue them.
