And on top of that, if you have read anything about Dead by Sunrise and Linkin Park, you'd know that Chester himself said he isn't going to let it get in the way of LP. LP is making a new album and Chester is involved. He didn't leave, he just had a few ideas that he did not want to conflict with LP's personal sound.

If a band loses fans because their music has grown and developed into a "new" sound, then they were never really fans.

No one wants the same standard sound from a band each record. It's called growth and it's a good thing. Dead by Sunrise sounds pretty good to me, and LP has always sounded amazing and still does.

Why knock Chester for growing out and making a new group? It's a good thing! The band sounds great. Plenty of bands have branched out: Underoath/The Almost? :P C'mon.
