It's a much older hornet, orginally for FS9, by Aerialfoundry, not the new one that came with Acceleration (which wasn't out when I made this).

When I first used that Aerialfoundry F-18 in FSX I was impressed, when I used it in FS9 (Which sadly enough I didn't get until December of '08) I was amazed. Which Harrier did you use? It looks like the freeware one on Simviation, but I hate that one so much I'm not completely sure. I haven't tried the UKMIL one, but knowing them it must be good.

I think this might be the 10 millionth time I've answered this question haha. I do my filming in multiplayer formation flight with my friends. 90% of the time you're seeing them fly the manoeuvres I need for each shot, and I'm following along and recording.

Thanks Shadow. I'm actually not sure what you mean by venting, but if you mean the water vapour, it's an FSX effect that is automatically placed behind jet engines and wheels in the rain.

I know, I love Vantage too but I have been so busy latley I've never seen all of this one. I love the Aerialfoundry F-18 mainly because it has the textures for VFA-82, the VNAVY squadron I currently command.

The F-18 is by Aerialfoundry (fs9), the SR-71 by Alphasim, and the Harrier is freeware, available at most of the major FS sites. I made this film long before Acceleration came out. Cheers.

I have to say the night textures for FSX are awesome. The only downside FSX requires a massive system. When I first got the game I was running all on med low graphics, then I purchased 2GB of ram and now I can run max quality (crappy fps though) any idea how I could boost? Great video by the way! I didn't know there was so many camera angles.

Thanks mate. The only way to increase performance in FSX after getting good fast ram, is to get a faster processor. Really you need a core2duo 6600 at the *bare minimum* to get decent performance. For best results you need a penryn dual or quad core.

The jet is called a Harrier the one he used in this game is freeware from simviation I don't have it so I'm not sure if it has a VC,the black bird is the alphasims payware version which does have a VC
