Brighton Beach has got to be one of the most DEPRESSING AND UGLIEST areas in the 5 boroughs.
Russians are very depressing. I highly advise people to stay away if they don't want clinical depression.

hey let me correct you in brighton there is not a lot of REal Russian, a lot of russian speakers s, which also makes me want to throw up, but dont bring russians here.. im also Russian so..

20 years ago it was. I still remember going to Irving's and my Mom buying a fresh killed chicken. Everything changes. But I do miss Irving's and Old Mr. Yonkle at the cash register; he always gave My Mom an extra smile. He might have been 90 years old but he still had the zetz. LOL. That was then. Do you remember Jordan's Lobster over in Sheepshead?
