Must say that looks nice. My old man had a 1.6 Clio and when I was 17 enjoyed taking it for a blast. On a nice long straight got 128 Mph out of her. With i reckon a tail wind lol. But good for blasting around town and not much on the motor way after 100. Thats why I went to a Cavalier Turbo :)

Its very good, but can be better, you have max power in low range, you should have you max power and torque a litlle bit up so that you can achieve more top end velocity.

Hey dude I have a question, how many gas does your car consume with all the modifications?? how many kms per ltr.?? by the way I have a 1.6 too, model 2004 with high flow air intake (OMP Dynamic air filter) with Tornado, OMP sport exhaust without resonator and the car walks pretty nice, I don't have 2500 euros to do all the modifications like yours =(, but I'm happy with my car performance. Don't forget that saxo vts has 145 nm at 5200rpm, clio has 148 nm at 3750, torque is also importante, in first and secound gear, the only diference is the driver.

Well,the vts is a litlle step ahead, de diference is when vts chnages to 3º gear, the clio looses a lot space in begining, after that is equal till 160 more or less, more than that i don't know.

Men, i've saw your car, and believe me, your car is fast, but you've better exchange your exhaust ligne cause it's not getting good top speed, has you've changed so much it deserves a complete exhaust ligne from supersprint.;)

I think your exhaust is to large or to direct and you don't have de compression necessare to get more top speed, instead you gain on the aceleration, but if you want to have great aceleration change the gearbox to one from the 1.4 16v

yes you are right but i don't think i would gin more speed from that.after all the catalyst is stock and also the wheels are stock 14 inches.i would have to change all that to gain a few km top speed.i like it better like this.you should see the surprise of the ''peageuat rally'' on acceleration on first and second gear.these guys clould not believe it.the car looks almost normal from the outside and that's the basic idea.

ok, but why comparing with a 106 rallye, the 106 rallye stock is slower than the clio 16v, and i'm not inventing this, i've tested it, also with a citroen vts 1.6 16v, until 3º gear it's side to side, in 3º gear saxo gets a little bit away.

I'm certain about what i'm saying, i tested my clio against a vts, only goes a litlle bit away in 3º gear, after that i didn't tested, i only tested til 140km/h, saxo's not fast compared to the clio.
