The reason why gigafide can have ads is because what he is doing is completely educational and not intended for malicious purposes. He's what's known as a white hat hacker, a.k.a a hacker that hacks for the betterment of software.

A black hat hacker is for those who want free stuff and will give people their virus in order to obtain said free stuff. As we can see, he doesn't fit in that category.

Secondly, the amount of money you get per click is very low, and then not all the people, i guess even under 50% are gonna click on your ads

@MrMortjon No, it is not easy, but people have made money on this. It not just click on ad makes money, It also display ( number of people seeing the ad), and actually people buying the ad items. Second, you need to learn SEO to get people to get visited your website.

If you're creating a website for fun, or there is just no content don't hope for much visitors. Ads are only good if you already have some traffic, and if you have some GOOD content on that website people want to read, download or something else.
