Brings it back. We had one of these at school, bought in 1980 for £1,800. It was the one instrument in the music room you weren't allowed to touch, and even if you got to play it, you never ever touched any of the buttons! We had a couple of synth performers come and do some awesome demos on it.

It actually weighs around 40 pounds. A little hefty, but nothing you probably couldn't lift.

I only found this now - wish I could have bid on your auction. I have a JP-8 and these sounds translate well over to it, but there's definitely something about the JP-4. The dual stack mode on the JP-8 rocks, but I still wonder why they left out the ensemble chorus. Good thing I got a Dimension D for that! Great video - thanks.
