@akatuski1 no. its caled the accompaniment. the instrument was not a piano. the melody was programmed into the electronic device. This is not an instructional video on how to play the piece, Apologize, as a piano solo.

@kingtu3 Yes, I've used Home Concert Xtreme with a Yamaha YPG-635 digital piano, and it works great because it has a full bank of General MIDI sounds.

@bcarmak I just used a MIDI file with Home Concert Xtreme. The piano voice was just the default piano sound on the Yamaha Clavinova CVP piano. I don't remember where I got the MIDI file from, but you might want to check the Yamaha Musicsoft website. Just do a search for "Apologize".

@WladoSrbija: I don't think it's a matter of right or wrong. People just have different interpretations on how it's played. I think he uses essentially the same harmonic progressions as I teach. My way is more based off the published sheet music. I can tell you that he uses some unorthodox fingering, but of course he doesn't have a formal musical educational background like I do.
