Oh Lauren you are awesome. This brought tears to my eyes. I just know Bogy is looking down upon you now and smiling with admiration. And when the time comes when we all take that trip to the other world, I imagine you and him meeting again like Rose and Jack in Titanic. <3
@WillScarlet16 I honestly, worked with her in the film "Misery" and can tell you she is a Star! She carried herself like a Lady-and this one has Received a million Kudos MANY Awards ++++ Great to just stare at her like I Did on the set~(I played a character actor with James Caan then cut to scene with Lady Laureen! Thanks for posting this!! ♥Love YA Laureen~♥
@hellobasil21 Actually, you're wrong. It's based on the life of Joan Crawford. I don't know what interview you're referring to, but whenever asked, he says the song is based on Joan Crawford's life.
It was her apt. REMEMBER - she was acclaimed in the musical APPLAUSE on Broadway as she created the role. She sells a song without having to sing it . cool
I wonder where this was taped. Her own apartment in New York? A friend's place, perhaps? She's quite a talent. A REAL star....from a time when stars were known for having REAL talent & not just famous for being famous. Not only a veteran movie actress, but also the star of a couple of Broadway hits, such as the musicals "Applause" - which was based on the classic film "All About Eve" - and later "The Woman of the Year" - which was also based on a movie. THANKS for posting! :)
Lauren had seen better moments in her day than these no doubt. . . It would serve no purpose to call it music in even the friendliest sense of the word.
@cjmscully It looks like 1990 or so. If you watch the movie Misery, she looks eerily similar in it. She made a cameo in it. That's just my guess, though:)
Still beautiful, inside and out!

They should play this for the Iraqi soldiers. They would surrender immediately if someone would turn this off.

I doubt you know she has a Tony under her belt for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.
She's older here, I grant, but she COULD sing.
