For those that claim that the band is about Lars and James, let's put it this way. One, Lars did start the band, but he's not a good drummer. Two, both Lars and James will mention that it was Cliff that really cemented the Thrash Metal aspect. Not to mention, he was the only actually TRAINED musician in the group. You can see how without him reminding them that thrash isn't about money, or an image, they strayed from the path. The black album played Madison Square Garden before they did.
