This is a great bluetooth-headset which really stands out from the crows. Great soundquality for voice, noicecancellation which really works (especially great in the car) and iPhone-support which makes this an outstanding headset for anyone with and Apple-phone.

Thanks for the review. I just broke my LG bluetooth headset and I am looking for a new one and I guess I will get a jawbone. Do you know how long the I-phone battery lasts? Mine lasts about 18 hours and I have to recharge it.

@gerson866 Of course you can! Just take it out and place it in the other ear, if you switch it fast enough you can almost hear the stereo surround sound! *Thumbs Up*

Thank you for the vid!!! I own one of these and lately it has been a pain on the neck to use. It disconnects when Im on the middle of a call. Or sometimes it disconnects if on stand by even. I paired with my 3gs iphone. Any suggestions??? I think I ll have to buy a different one. Thank you!!

The multifunction button is NOT how you turn power on and off. There is a on/off switch between the earbud and the cheek sensor.

@ willcodeforfoo After you hear the voice say "Voice Dialing" approx. 2 sec's latter you hear a "beep". At that time you are in voice dial mode. At that time say "call" or "dial" and say the number, you want dialed. It works well for me.

the "little nub" is part of the "Noise Assassin" noise-canceling technology (and it works better if you have it touching your physical body. ie. your cheek, in this case). it works by feeling your cheek (and jawbone), and thereby feeling when you're talking and stuff (by the humming and/or vibrations of your voice and/or mouth when you speak, i guess).

A2DP is available if you update the device on the website. I'm having trouble getting the Jawbone to trigger the iPhone 3GS's Voice Control mode. Should this work? I just hear the Jawbone voice say "Voice Dialing" if I hold the button for a couple seconds, but nothing happens.

Voice dialing does work for me. I just hold it in and it says voice dialing, then I heard the iPhone tone.

I looked at this headset after my Jabra BT530 broke.

It was the fact that this Jawbone does not currently support A2DP that made me purchase a Jabra Extreme instead of the Icon. My phone already announces who is calling me and the Jabra Extreme has multi-point pairing along with A2DP. I listen to music using it all the time. While at lunch, it is great to pass the time.

If and when A2DP is finally added to the Icon, I might take a closer look at it.

Video was very good and covered the options well. However, it should be noted that the clarity of this Jawbone isn't good. The features are great but not good enough to overcome the clarity issue. I spend thousands of minutes a month on the Bluetooth...clarity it key! Does anyone have any suggestions on how setting can be changed to enhance clarity?

I see you are using this with your iphone. I am too, however on longer calls (45 min +) I have found that I lose pairing and it repairs itself in about 10 seconds or so. Anyone else had this issue with the iphone? I am trying to diagnose if it is the phone or the headset giving me issues. I never have a distance of more the 2-3 feet between the phone and the earpiece.

Hi,I have Jawbone Aliph,the first one and I love it. But it's more than 2 years old and had to glue some parts,but hey! 2 years in few hours a day use is quiet a bit and so am shopping for new one. Does this one have that "noice shield" feature? I like this device a looottt. And yes,great presentation ;)
