we have the same siren in our older ambulance... or second rig is updated but the old siren works great... have the ability to cycle from wail to yelp (he uses the MAN function in the vid above) hooked to the horn.

how do you wire these up? is there a harness or just 2 wires into the fuse box?

@den9 It's not that hard all you do is take the two black wires that are on the wiring harness and connect them to one black wire then take the two red postive wires and hook them up to a red wire then take your two speaker wires orange (postive) brown (negative) and take a black wire hook that to the brown one take a red wire and hook that up to the orange wire and then make sure the postive wire going to the battery has a fuse holder in it with a 20 amp fuse so it can hold the load.

Whelen fucked up big time when they dropped the old HF sirens like these, the newer tones are slower and more low pitched.

If it's HI-LO then your model is either one of the following: 295HFSB1 / 295HFSF1 and 295HFSD1 / 295HFSJ1. I don't think you can change it to phaser wihout taking microprocessors out and replace them.
