I am glad there are others out there who have seen this show at least 7 times just as I have. When somebody asks me what my favourite series is, I respond with ''I have a lot of favourite series, but the OC is my favourite show by LIGHTSYEARS" the ending of season 1 is the best ending I have ever seen, and will ever see for as long as I live. i can't describe how much this show, and this series in particular means to me.. its absolutely perfect, the writers, actors, crew and the settings jel togther to make it perfect, better than any other show i've seen, not to mention the fantastic choice of music that always seems to fit perfectly whether the scene sad is happy, sad, emoitional, funny, serious.. there's something special that makes it more than a show and i don't think there will ever be one that matches it.

i'm watching the series for the first time and just finished the first season, i think i finally understand why people started hating this show. not because it got boring, but because no one wants to see perfection turn to hell. this clip will go down in history as a very sad portion of the show, but it would've seen a fifth season if things would've manuvered back to the way things were. that's my opinion, lemme know what you think.

I really don't see how people compare Gossip Girl & the O.C. Gossip Girl is an awful show. I watch it because it's entertaining & all... but it has NO SUBSTANCE whatsoever. It doesn't become a part of your life like the O.C. It doesn't make you laugh & cry like the O.C. The O.C. is just... timeless. Wow, that sounded cheesy, but Marissa, Ryan, Summer, & Seth = classic.

& seriously, the only substance GG has is Chuck & Blair, and even they aren't anything compared to Ryan & Marissa. R&M FOREVER!
