The coupe 4 looks like a great car, I hope one day I can have a go at driving one. I don't understand why they dropped the AWD idea, we don't all want to do power slides.
I bet with a bit of development this could have been holden's answer to the GTR.
How does this car perform at the track? Is it a Skyline GTR/Godzilla slayer? At 2 tonnes is abit heavy but so were the Group A R32's. Interesting to find out.

Bomi has pretty much covered it ... the only real compromise to the daily drive is it sits VERY low, so clearance is an issue and it's not as comfortable as it was stock ... but it's far from unbearable. Very easy cvar to drive every day. Qtr mile time was 10.982 @ 124 mph.

The AWD lets it get every single available RWKW to the ground on command. NickS said that it will do a AWD burnout also but he wont do one. The coupe 4 has been bak to the track since last time as the trans was on its way out,back out to the track with a new trans saw it running 11.3@120.9mph in full wieght (2050kg) only running 7 to 8psi...
What about those Brits, call the Monaro a Vauxhall, drop on a supercharger and sell it off the showroom floor with 500 hp and a full waranty, sheese, lucky shits.
There is another C4 that was supercharged, kept at 5.7l, also 376 Kw, be nice to see them up against each other, turbo versus supercharger. Both cars damn nice. They should have kept the Monaro going as they have done with the ute and wagon until the replacement comes along. The best front was the last VZ Monaro with the Mazda like protruding center, finally made a Holden with an agressive attractive nose and it's on the runout model.

You seen it hey, well if you saw it then you were there and knew that it was 42 degrees, not real Turbo weather, and if you saw it there you would have seen it being driven and not launched off the line. What its runs on any given day is what it runs.
Of course they are correct!!! LOL The C4T hasnt been on the 1/4 since all this work. Sunday 21st Jan it will though. At 2100KG's (4000+Pnds) I think it will run a high 11. Oh standard stall also. Stay tuned for an update movie.
