  • WTF @ 1:43? Also, what are those tubs for at the hydrant?

  • at 2:28 an ambulance goes by

  • if were up there up

  • you guys do a good job out there keep up the good work i love your other videos also

  • You see the bug on the window. Do you know what the last thing that went through hes mind was? HIS ASS LMFAO.

i said that cause it just poped in to my head

  • Exactly who were they using the siren for? There's NO-ONE one the road, no need for all that ruckus.

  • @tubesteakdynamo in most states, if you are using red lights you must have a siren audible while in motion some times there is no need for the siren but there doing the right thing

  • @rtw149 , I''ve worked in forestry in about 8 states so far and have yet to come across a LAW...I have come across operator preference and in a some cases departmental policy. In any case there is no need for extra ruckus and unnecessary noise, in fact most west coast rural tanker shuttles run without lights unless they're in a traffic or low visibility setting. If it is this company's policy, perhaps making a distinction between the "right" thing and the mandated thing is in order.

  • @tubesteakdynamo i agree with you, if there is no need for it it shouldn't be on. In CT its required to have a siren audible with red lights. These are the permits:

    Red/Siren

    Red and White Light Combination/Siren

Red (no siren, stationary use only)

    White/Siren

There is no permit that uses red lights without a siren while responding. I Don't agree with the law and we don't always follow it but we have gotten in an accident with a truck without a siren audible and could've gotten in trouble

  • @rtw149 Where I'm from, we're not allowed to run code with any kind of siren, etc after 10PM (only full lights) unless we approach any traffic intersections or moderate traffic, then it's usually just a quick blast with the Q or horns. Taxpayers don't like sleep interruptions ya know.

  • awesome video

  • I didn't comment on the other video, but this is some great footage you put together. Also, very nice job on the exposure protection.

  • 7:52 what is that infront of the engine of the firetruck its the first time i see it =O!

nice video btw cant wait to become a firefighter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It works the same way as pre-connected LDH, or an LDH intake on the front of a standard pumper. Water can be taken in or discharged from the bumper. Most of time there are 2-3 1 3/4" connection, a 2 1/2" connection, and a 5" connection.

  • cool thx :D!

  • Anytime.

  • Good video. Its a must for all new firefighters to get wet from 127.

  • gotta watch that 127, they got me with that when i first got on the department

  • Like I said, it was a hot day. It felt pretty good.

  • great video
