Detecting with chicago Ron 1866 Indian Double die!

what detector do you use, i use a garret 250 and that seems to work so i was wondering whats better about the more expensive machines.

@asfsdavd I have hunted for 20 years wish i had a 250 during that time. They work the best for me for coins. Mine works so well i will get another.

hey ron i was just wondering is there a certain deph u  try to target before u dig...what i mean is do u did anything under 6-7 inches or what's ur secret i am new to metal detectoring and i just bought an older whites classic III off of craigslist but it doesn't have a depth finder so i am stuck digging everythin...it does have a coin catergory under descrimination but if i have it on that setting it wont pick up nickel' and advice u could give me that would be great...My wife and i are also

Awesome double die!!! It's not in the 2010 red book as a mint error. Good find there my friend.
