  • Thanks. Interesting game.

  • Psy you're mic is really quiet compared to Diggity's.

  • haha arnold

  • GET TO THE CHOPPA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Storks late-game PvT is now "shrouded in mystery" OMFGLOL! great line there especially since diggity repeated it. xD

gg, thanks for doing these. Storks gotta fall though. you dont double cheese like that! *shakes head*

  • Why didnt gogo just kill off storks probes, floats away his CC into safety and then waits until storks demands a draw?

Do the rules say anything about that?

  • Won't work. Stork just saves up 200-ish minerals, kills GoGo's base. Then he goes back and kills the vulture and it's over.

  • ? my question was:

Id like to know what happens when gogo floats away his CC over some water where the goons cant get it.

Then it would be a draw situation.

  • What have you been smoking?

    1) Send 1 Dragoon back to your base and kill the Vulture while the rest of your Dragoons finish off the Terran's base.

    2) Use your saved up minerals to build probes. Once you have enough minerals, build a Stargate and then a Scout.

    3) Fly out, find and kill the Command Center.

    4) Terran eliminated. OMG A WINNER IS YOU!

Seriously... did you even *think* before posting that?

  • Why all the flaming

I understand what youre saying, but I guess my question hasnt become clear to you:

    We have the following premises:

No more probes. No more money in the bank. No flying units out in the field. There is no way to reach the CC.

I would like to know what happens then, if there are any rules that prohibit the Terran from playing chicken - or if then a draw would have to be requested.

  • There is no way in hell that Stork is so stupid that he'll spend his last 50 minerals on a probe before that vulture in his base is gone. EOD.

  • Hypothetically

    I accept that its improbable

  • In such a case, the game is a draw and they replay the game.

The exact terms of winning is to destroy all opposing buildings. If neither side can destroy the other player's buildings, it's a draw.

  • indeed, the dinosuar bird protoss won by his build. well put rylaimtx. gg

  • I think that stork's "creative" play is what won him the Incruit OSL, and I really like this variety of play. (sorry if you think double cheese is not variety or creative, but honestly nobody could have expected that)

    Song Byung Goo Fighting!

  • imba protoss

  • 1. stork's PvT is top 3 and by far his best matchup

    2. forGG's specialty is a timing attack sort of like Mind ( this was apparent when he 3-0'd jaedong with timing rine pushes"

    3. stork's weakness is his ability to play straight up games resulting in build orders specifically made to counter him ( see flash BO on katrina )

    4. in any strategy game, being predictable is your worst enemy ( flash with 14cc, stork with quick reavers )

  • Was stork making pizza this group, he had enough cheese

  • You both should do more duals, this is a very enjoyable combination... just a little more volume on Psy's mic next time, for a optimal experience. Thanks for your effort, guys.

  • why would you not watch the first 2 games? because I didn't see stork vs. whoever on violtak. I only see sea vs gogo then straight to winners match

  • Why all the hate on Psy recently?? He's been one of the best for like years!

  • I'm not gonna lie, I've never been a fan of Psy, but I think he did a great job in these games. Good commentaries from both you guys!

  • pvt is storks strongest matchup statistically

  • Great to see you back Psy. Your commentaries are great, they add something special.

  • show a little respect son, psyonic was a SC commentator BEFORE it was cool.

  • then dont listen, gtfo

  • Couldn't he just have put down a bunker as soon as he saw the first zealot? That way he could have gotten the time to get the machine shop...

  • maybe stork had a hot date and wanted to make it a quickie.

  • diggity kept saying forgg

  • He was talking about the first game in the series.

  • gogo looks really ugly

  • agreed!!!!

  • Starcraft isn`t beauty contest, asshole

  • then you must be ugly too

  • girl, your manners are ugly

  • Somebody had to say it. Nobody's hurting his feelings.

  • lol get out of there, get to the chopaa

  • I don't know what Psyonicreaver is talking about though, because Stork has the best PvT in the world. In fact ForGG pick Stork's group for this MSL because Stork kept killing him before and caused his TvP to slump. So he wanted revenge.

Stork is also widely regarded as a master of "build order" among progamers. If he does a cheesy build, it's because the build is strong.

  • Against S-Class Terrans, Stork has had trouble in his late game PvT.

  • Who?

Stork has plenty of hole in his game when he's not on, but macro is certainly not one of them.

  • Flash...

  • When did Stork have bad macro against Flash?

You mean the game a couple of months ago on Neo Harmony? The one where all the commentators were saying how Flash was winning, while totally ignoring Stork's significant econ advantage. And then Stork kept suiciding his armies into Flash's seige tanks, and STILL end up pwning Flash?

    And Stork can't macro!?

  • so he has a significant econ advantage and beats flash?

    Good macro i guess?

  • Do you even know what macro is?

Psyreaver saying Stork lacks macro is like saying Jaedong doesn't like to use mutas, or that Flash doesn't like to fast expand. It's pretty much as far from the truth as one can get.

And as someone else pointed out, ForGG is great at timing pushes. Hence his 2-fac build against Stork in the first game.

  • Stork has great macro of course. But It could against terran be the weekest point in his game like Psy said, even though he is an all-around player.. I thought about the Bacchus OSL finals when Flash really beat him hard in late game macro when i made my reference to Flash.

  • Mmm...

    Cheese...

    ...Go Stork!

  • What's below S-class player? How does the ranking system work?

  • Well, it's fairly arbitrary. S-class usually denotes champion caliber player(Flash, Stork, Bisu, Jaedong) while A-class are good players who haven't had as much success. Anything below is generally considered mediocre or scrubs.

  • ranked from lowest to highest E-D-C-B-A-S
