@bestshowontheweb Wow, I've seen the movie a million times, but I never knew they said that nor that they had AFN during WWII. Their commercials are something to be desired.

@soldierknowhow Yeah, I watched the scene about six times to make out what Danny boy said, he says it quietly. But they did have an AFN station in WW2, though it was more of a USO station for the boys overseas

Provides a great sense of nostalgia and mystique that's since helped me understand the pleasures of my grandfather's generation.
