@greenhornet299 DAMN! You just hit a "Heart-Spot"; Brother. My son is in the Marines at 29 Palms right now. I always had a Special Place in my heart for you Vietnam Vets.
Because he's a LEGEND with an amazing voice and GREAT writer. He's been recording for 44 years and sold out concerts for years. You need a lesson in music.
@j2thashaw that's okay.... I can understand that........cause if you were sure..... or had any clue at all ........you wouldn't have made such a stupid comment I am sure ^-^
This is one of John Lennon's greatest songs. So glad James sang it, given that the Beatles gave him his first break back in the 60's. Without the Beatles there may have been no James. Without James, George Harrison may never have written Something. So it goes.
Although Judy Collin's version is my favorite, it makes me so glad to hear James Taylor's version ... It's so personal as it is in Collin's interpretation... I thank you so much for sharing this version with one of my favorite singers... I true legend... pure poetry indeed...
I wish I could buy this version!!Great!
