@Prowelder24 They are Pacer's right? Look damn good on the truck except mine was used and i dont think them rims have ever been cleaned, so im taking a couple hours to sand them down and buff them out
@SuzukiBoy77 Yep that's what they are. They were on the truck when I bought the truck and I polished them all up at one point. They need it again but until winter is over, it would be pointless. lol
@Prowelder24 Haha yeah thats what im saying with my rims. Im waiting until summer to do alot with my truck. I am ripping its running boards off and will probably put stainless steps on it. Possibly a south benz triple disk clutch because the edge juice is having its way with my stock clutch haha. Then the 110 horse injectors, and light bars and i think i will be done
@SuzukiBoy77 Yeah for the time being, everything is caught up. When summer gets here I'm going to build some new step bars, something kinda like N-Fabs. Or I might just buy a set of them, I don't know yet. Then I've got a lot of work to help do on a friend's rig. But I'm pretty much down to just needing either twins or a larger single, water/meth, headstuds, and a Smarty stack. Then maybe some little things that I can't think about right now. However, they are never "done" are they?? HAHA!
@Prowelder24 Lmao i know right!! You will be saying "damn i own the best damn truck in the world" Then you see a truck go rollin by with something you never even thought of and think to yourself. "Hot damn i gotta get me one of them!" Up where i work, a buddy of mine always has his truck in there. It's an 04 and he put atleast 20k just in his engine. All you have to do is let the clutch out a little too fast and its squealin the tires. lol thats american right there
@SuzukiBoy77 That sounds like a beast!! I don't know if I could spend just 20k on my engine alone... On the other hand, it doesn't take that much to do it!! HAHA!
@Prowelder24 Lol let me tell you. I have a pontiac trans am. A little work done to the engine, its a WS.6 And he basically ate it alive. His truck is a six speed, so if he is just cruising on the highway doing 60 in sixth gear, all he has to do is smack the pedal to the floor and his truck will start burning the tires off. At 60mph! lmao his truck is rediculous.
@CATZR600BRAAAAAP Well I haven't seen him around, now your going to say im just saying shit because i dont have a video. But if i did, i would love to share it because his truck is just amazing
Dammit Winslow, you got the same tires I'm putting on my truck!! Same turbo, same exhaust, and now same tires!! Shit!! I think you would've noticed more performance gain from the exhaust if it was a stock truck. I did. Plus you can hear that hybrid whistle a TON more!! Sounds a lot better man... But STOP buying shit I have!!!! lol just kidding man!! Nice rig!!
@rangaman86 But next are batteries, step bars, ladder bars, headstuds, hood paint, and maybe some other minor things. Any of those are your list?? Or do you already have them? lol
@Prowelder24 I got the step bars but I'm taking them off. Trucks been off the road since July. Trying to save for a paint job this spring. Also going to do 17's with 35" fierce attitude tires. Then going to add a billet input, laminated flexplate and a new 3 disc goerand converter. Then the twins and what not. Then I'm done!! hahah
@Prowelder24 Take me a little while but she'll be perfect when its done. Be a nice summer toy. Buying a little beater truck for the winter to try and keep the salt off the diesel
Thanks for the info. The only reason i'm debating on the straight pipe is it's cheaper! haha. Could you notice a quicker spool up compared to the 3" straight pipe?
So, i have a question for you. I am in the same situation as you were. Stock exhaust straight piped and i'm looking at the 4 inch diamond eye system... Do you like the version with the muffler? I can't decide whether to go with the straight piped system or not...
@doubleblackD I love it!! I didn't like the sound level of the straight pipe which is one reason I wanted a new exhaust. If your truck is a shortbed quad cab, then it will come with an extra piece of pipe. If it is a long bed, well I guess you will have to buy a piece if you decide to straight pipe it. I prefer the muffler but that's me.
@grizzlyman239 They did it from 1998-2001 24v engines. However, a few 12v engines even have this block. The other numbers are 54, 55, 56, and a bunch of little numbers. Any of those are good blocks to have.
I'm a good friend of his I drive a 98 quad cab SLT LARAMIE 12v automatic. Its the Holy grail of 12v trucks.
I run DTT billet band anchors, struts, servo, accumulator, and shift kit. 4" K&N Clamp on, custom heat shield, 4k GSK, 60# valvesprings, 4" straight pipe, 2.5" HBS leveling kit, 35x12.50r16 M/T BAJA CLAWS on 16x10" DICK CEPECK DC-2 Wheels. Soon to have a pusher style intake and tow mirrors as well as new intercooler clamps and boots.
Black Magic is the name of his truck, 2 cycle refers to the fact that he runs 2 cycle oil like what you put into mix gas for a 2 stroke engine, and he has a 54 block, one of the strongest block castings available.
@grizzlyman239 Yep, the 2 cycle is for lube for the VP. You mix an once per gallon in the fuel. Black Magic is the name of my rig and the 54 block is the block number.
@grizzlyman239 Nope, it adds lube to the fuel. Cummins even authorized up to 5% of waste oil but I wouldn't use that much nor use waste oil. The number on the block is the front driver's side behind the power-steering pump. Check out Mopar1973man.co for more info on the 2-cycle and just Google "53 block" for more info on that.
@grizzlyman239 That I don't know. But really since you've got the little numbers, I won't worry about it. I don't know if anyone decoded them... Really not a need to though.
@grizzlyman239 LOL I don't know if I am or not. But I feel like I was on this truck. It had some fun goodies on it when I bought it and it was a good price too!
@grizzlyman239 Mine came with the Edge Comp, Autometer gauges, rims, steps, nice stereo with subs and amp, and the straight pipe on the stock exhaust.
@grizzlyman239 The tires are 315/75R16 Fierce Attitude MTs. The wheels are 16" Pacers. I think they are 10" wide, but I'm not 100% sure. I really like the tires, they aren't too loud going down the highway and drive pretty nicely. Haven't really had a chance to "test" them out yet though... lol
Damn nice truck bud, i believe those are the same exact rims i have though haha

@Prowelder24 wow thats a lot! what the black magic thing? and 2 cycle 54 block?
grizzlyman239 1 year ago
@grizzlyman239 Yep, the 2 cycle is for lube for the VP. You mix an once per gallon in the fuel. Black Magic is the name of my rig and the 54 block is the block number.
Prowelder24 1 year ago
@Prowelder24 ok does the oil mess any thing up? and were do you fine the number on the block?
grizzlyman239 1 year ago
@grizzlyman239 Nope, it adds lube to the fuel. Cummins even authorized up to 5% of waste oil but I wouldn't use that much nor use waste oil. Prowelder24 1 year ago
@Prowelder24 ok so 54 is better.
grizzlyman239 1 year ago
@grizzlyman239 Yeah the 53 block has a thin, weak water jacket walls. It has the tendency to crack and leak water.
Prowelder24 1 year ago
@Prowelder24 i don't see 53 on my block so how to find the other numbers.
grizzlyman239 1 year ago
@grizzlyman239 Well there should be some little numbers on the block. If you Google "53 Block" some info will pop up that should help you out.
Prowelder24 1 year ago
@Prowelder24 so the little numbers mean its not a 53 block?
grizzlyman239 1 year ago
