Well I wouldn't be too sure about that cuz at the end of DMC4 Kyrie,despite him being half demon,accepted Nero...devil bringer and all and everyone got what they wanted in the end.Nero defeated the evil pope with delusions for demon power and his followers lol,got his childhood love interest-turned girlfriend and Kyrie like-wise got her "Knight" in shining armor so to speak.

The only thing Nero and Kyrie DIDN'T get in the end was some nice mouth-to-mouth kissing action.

Look as far as i can find out Nero is supposed to be Vergil's son, in one of the dmc novels it says hes virgils son (maybe the i instead of e is a typo, i dunno).

Also as for Nero's DT It looks to me like Nelo angelo from dmc1(which also make some kind of sence as Nelo is somehow translated into Nero, dont ask i don't know).

Also Nero and vergil don't use as many weapons as dante. Nero powers his Arm and Vergil has his Dark Slayer style.

That's probably the Yamato (which was Vergil's sword). Remember, weapons in this game seem to have originally been monsters, or are bestowed by monsters. The entity that is behind Nero might very well be Yamato's essence of the demon that formerly controlled it. Either that, or it actually is Vergil, just in a complete demonic form.
